When it comes to pastries, there are 2 senses that matter, how it looks and how it tastes. Appearance: 5 Stars First when I saw it, I was extremely impressed with all of the itty bitty details from the gummy rocks to the sea otters (all edible). I asked Charlene to do something beachy, maybe blue. The Beach Cupcake Cake was just PERFECT for my sister's 40th birthday luncheon. My family is all about ocean, so everyone was taking pictures and staring at it! Then when I saw the butter for the little footprints on the sand, I thought that was the coolest thing I've ever seen! Taste: 5 Stars Fast forward through the day to my sister's birthday, everyone oooh'd and ahhhh'd. Then came time to eat, we all pulled one apart (no cutting thanks to the cupcake cake) and again nothing but the best. The buttercream frosting wasn't TOO heavy as it can be sometimes. My family was impressed with me, and that can be a challenge! Thank you Charlene. I will be referring you to everyone I know, as a pastry chef who goes above and beyond to please her clients one taste bud at a time!

It was so pretty, the girls thought it was just there for decorations! I had to convince them that the WHOLE thing was edible! Unless you're looking to clear your bowels, DO NOT GO HERE, If I could give zero stars, I would. We…read moreordered sweet tea, a Dr Pepper, chicken Alfredo (requested crispy chicken, not grilled), a Philly cheesesteak pizza, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo wings. The only item that was even somewhat edible was the mozzarella sticks, which appeared to be straight from mass-produced packaging. The sweet tea was not sweet at all, despite being told it was. There was a noticeable chip in the glass of the Dr Pepper, and pieces were falling into the drink when it was set down. The bread served with the Alfredo tasted stale. While the noodles were cooked, the sauce was clumped together and completely lacked flavor. On top of that, the Alfredo came out with grilled chicken instead of crispy, and no one mentioned the change. The wings were extremely soggy, and the cheese on the pizza tasted artificial. Service was also very disappointing. When we arrived, everyone at the front counter was on their phones. We waited over 20 minutes between our appetizer and our main course. When the server brought us to-go boxes, she did not bring the check. We waited about 10 minutes for the check to be dropped off, and then another 10 minutes for her to return and pick it up--even though she passed our table multiple times. The check was sitting at the edge of the table with a card clearly visible, and we were close to going to the front counter to pay ourselves. We are both feeling sick afterward. This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality of food and level of service. We gave it one last chance after a previous visit, but the experience has only declined. We used to love Millstone before the change in ownership, but since the new owners took over, the quality has gone downhill while prices have increased. If we hadn't felt bad for our server for having to work at this establishment already, we would've sent the food back. I do not recommend dining here. Even chain pizza places like Domino's or Pizza Hut offer better quality, and for genuinely good pizza, Legend Pizza & Co. just down the road is better priced with excellent food.

Off season, Irma hotel and buffet are very slow but the food is definitely better than busy season (when tourists show up for yellow stone). Highly recommend the clam chowder. I know Wyoming isn't really famous for any of that but their clam chowder is very good. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, the bison ribs, and the buffalo sandwich/burger. If you don't like heavy meats, stay away from bison ribs cuz it's super heavily seasoned to cover bison's distinctive gaminess. Also it's not as tender as you want it to be. The regular burger and the steak were pretty good from Irma. It's quite consistent. Surprisingly, the fries were very good. Especially the onion rings. Give it a try, for meat lovers, this place might be a pleasant surprise. But if you are looking for more delicate presentation and more distinctive tastes, I will recommend you some other spots around town in my other reviews. Enjoy the wilderness and nature ~
