GoodHouse was BEYOND incredible to work with! We had a quick 8-week timeline for a complete home renovation (over the holidays I'll add). David worked with us 1 on 1 and helped us with every little detail. They did everything from the floors, doors, bathroom, carpet, entire kitchen, appliance install, custom fireplace + shelves, the list goes on!!! Don't hesitate, you won't find a better team that you can completely trust! We plan to use them for all projects in the future! Thanks again David & team! - Gregory & Shannon read more

We would rate Good House Flooring, out of Danbury, CT a negative 10 for the installation of our LVP flooring. We had two other flooring contractors come in to review their installation. Both companies, in writing, stated that the flooring "wasn't installed correctly". We ended up having to REMOVE the entire flooring and had a competent installer reinstall the entire floor. GH Flooring would not admit to the mistake or correct the mistake. Their response was " its close enough". We recommend to stay away from them. If on the off chance they cause damage to your home, (which they did in our home and refused to take responsibility) or install the flooring incorrectly, they won't correct it. Completely unprofessional and unworthy. Please take heed of our warning and just go with a real professional installer. Do yourself a favor and avoid the expense and hassle of having to do your floor twice. read more

Two stars just for customer service/care. The tall white guy that drives the Goodhouse pickup truck is rude, disrespectful and just overall disgusting to clients. He cursed out my husband in our apartment parking lot for accidentally running over the sponge that goes under the carpet that was laid at the top of the hill which could not be seen. After apologizing for not seeing he proceeded to scream at my husband calling him a stup*d Mo****F****r and saying he needs to get out of here. Only when he said he lived here did he back up a little. A different worker then approached my husband apologizing on the other's behalf saying thats just how he is, and he has anger problems. I would not want this guy on my own property. Can't say much yet on the quality of their work, will update once flooring is complete. *Edit I believe the white guy's name is Jerry. read more

We are very pleased with the stair runner from Goodhouse, it is perfect! The quality of the product is exceptional and installation was done professionally. read more

Goodhouse installed laminate flooring throughout our house- upstairs, downstairs, kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. They estimated four days and were done in three. Every morning they arrived before 9 and worked until 5. Our house and yard were cleaned every day. We were able to walk around barefoot without any concern! More importantly, the three gentlemen were nice, professional, respectful of our house and of us when we had to move in and out due to work from home and remote learning spaces. They were helpful with moving furniture that needed it and really pleasant throughout the experience. All in all it was a successful job, and we are pleased with the finished product! read more

5 stars just for Customer service/care. Company is doing an install at my complex and I watched a large Spanish dude drive over the carpet padding that they had getting ready to set up in the drive way. No idea how this dude didn't see it. People really should get off their cell phones while driving. So the tall white guy went over and asked what the problem was as he was concerned about the drivers health cause who would run over a roll of carpet padding? He was just making sure the driver didn't pass out behind the wheel or anything bad. The driver went off on him. Started yelling and swearing. Thought a fight was about to happen. Large white goodhouse flooring dude stayed calm while the driver yelled. His co worker came over to talked to the bad driver in Spanish and the guy left. Good on the big white guy for not drop kicking the guy for running over the material. I would have. read more

I have never done a bad review before, because anyone can have a bad day, but they are THE WORST and this is a safety issue. They installed my basement carpet. It all seemed fine - work was average, acceptable for a basement and the price. Then just a few weeks later our basement had a flood and the carpet had to be ripped up. The floor under the carpet was littered with CUTTING BLADES!!! The installers just dropped them there as they worked. We found 5 blades in a small area. Our kids could have been really hurt. I was so thankful for that flood since it uncovered this unacceptable situation. Clearly they don't care about their customers or about quality. read more

Be aware that Goodhouse Flooring installs exterior doors for Lowes. They did a horrible job!!! Not only was the front door not installed properly, but they took my year old storm door off and slapped it back up with HUGE gaps and the door did not shut properly leaving a great place for the mice to hang out and they did!!! This job took several hours and they completed it in the dark. It was not until the next morning when I noticed all the defects and the light coming in around the door. In addition, they broke the cylinder. I forwarded pictures and was told by Goodhouse that it could not be fixed "because my house settled". Two months later, after spending many, many hours visiting the store, phone conversations with the corporate office, going back and forth..a new installer came and made all the adjustments needed on both doors. I have never written a review before, I expected to walk into Lowes and have a positive experience and professional installation as I did with the purchase of the storm door a year earlier. It appears to me that the smaller jobs that Goodhouse takes on are not important to them. My mother also had a bad experience with a carpet install with Goodhouse where they left a sharp, blunt edge around the fireplace stone which was extremely dangerous for anyone walking on it or a child falling on it. read more

Goodhouse flooring installed beautiful ProGen next generation vinyl flooring, which is sturdy and looks like hardwood. We consulted with Goodhouse and this was the best option for our family room, which is right off our deck and tracks in the elements of the outside and from our two dogs. The team arrived on the time the morning of the installation, and were done in less than 3 hours. They team was professional, meticulous, and detail oriented. We were impressed how they fit the flooring under the heat registers and a recently installed step to one or our bedrooms. It looks great. I would definitely recommend Goodhouse for any of their services. read more

Good House Flooring installed a Pergo floor for our basement through Lowe's. There were some tricky aspects to the job due to a raised landing and some buckling we experienced due to the very humid summer we had without HVAC in the basement. Mende, Scott and the crew at Good House Flooring were very attentive to our issue and came back as was needed to address and explain any issues till I was satisfied. In the end, they helped trim some areas and suggested a dehumidifier which has brought the buckling down in just 3 days. They are truly top notch flooring installers with a fantastic focus on customer service and, as their website says, stand behind their work. read more

Based on the positive reviews, we stopped into Goodhouse. Staff seemed knowledgeable and we were interested in a couple of options for redoing our hallway tile (both upstairs and down). Mike came and did the measuring....and then we never heard from them again. That is over a week ago. I even called to ask when we'd get the estimate...and they promised me we'd have it the next day. Which didn't happen. Very disappointed in our experience with them. read more

This is a family run business that I have been using for many years. Good advise, reasonable pricing (competitive with the box stores) and expert installation. Any time an issue has arisen, the service has been excellent. They definitely aim to please. read more

We had a wonderful experience at Goodhouse Flooring from start to finish. We had both hardwood and tile in a bathroom installed for anyone wanting to know. The showroom had beautiful options for any budget and Anthony the sales rep was welled educated and took all the time in the world with us explaining anything we needed/wanted to know. Prices were well varied and they worked with us to fit our budget as well! Mike who came/measured and gave us the estimate was also very helpful and quick to answer questions!! They estimated our job in total would take about 1 week or so but from start to finish (ripping out old floors/moldings/subfloors/tile etc.)they completed everything in 3 days!! We were truly blown away!! Floors look amazing both wood and tile!! Cannot recommend them enough!! Thank you Goodhouse Flooring! We love it! read more

Unfortunately, I have to leave 1 star instead of "0" stars, as that is not an option. Hired Loews for vinyl flooring install in a bathroom floor. Within 1/2 hour of them starting the install, their installer punctured a hot water line feeding the bathtub in that bathroom causing massive damage to the apartment below the bathroom. This required me to contact a plumber to fix the damaged pipe. Will need electrical and drywall repairs as well. Neither Goodhouse nor Loews is accepting responsibility for the damage they caused. Do not use these bozos. read more
