We were impressed with Meal as he clearly explained the roofing process, warranties, brought materials that we could see and feel and provided us with a list of neighbors that used them. We reached out to a few neighbors who were pleased with their job. We wanted the roofing job to start after hurricane season but it was started earlier. The new very heavy cement tiles were stacked on the roof when hurricane Helene & Milton were passing us by. I reached out to Evans with our concerns and the following morning our stacks were secured with metal ties. Our roof was completed as detailed. The new roof looks beautiful. We were connected with a painter to touch up our walls, a screen repairman to replace our torn screens and a gutter company. Our only issue was that we often were not informed about what was happening next. For example, we would have moved our car away from the house and juggled things around had we known when deliveries were coming. A trailer was moved in front of our garage and we had to have it moved so we could move our car. Our new Spanish-style red barrel tile roof besides being elegant is sun-reflecting, fire safe & will withstand 180 mph hurricane winds.

Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.

Started out great, my accountant referred me to this company because they did a great job for him…read more I called ACE Pro on April 1, 2026, this date takes on a rather "sick joke" meaning as time goes on. The call went great, a man came out the next day and looked at our leak, and we got a contract to do our roof, 2 sola-tubes and 2 solar attic fans and new rain gutters. That was April 1st, today is September 23, 2026. the project is finally done and has been nothing but a nightmare. Nearly 5 months of being completely ignored until the company needed another payout, then they would surprise us with a late afternoon call, saying "we'll have a crew out there in the morning". It was as if they had never heard of scheduling. Halfway through, I told the office I wanted the owner. John called me and spoke like he had some sense, but things got even worse after I involved him and I am not sure if it was him or maybe I torqued his staff by asking to speak to him. I wasn't rude or loud; I just insisted that someone call me to give me a heads up about progress and when it will happen. They cannot do that for some unknown reason. Well the Gutter company was awesome and I'll be reviewing them here with praise. I am retired and have owned 2 businesses of my own. I have a notion this company is in financial trouble, and they rush out to me a pay deadline to get the big payment and then they go radio silent on you. It was affecting my health to try to reason with these people. During the hottest months of the year here in S. Florida, this company rushed out to tear off our old roof and install the black rubber membrane required by Fl Law. Mind you this was during the hottest months and now our entire roof is nothing but a black membrane sucking in all the heat it can. This was the way the left our house for over a month. One of our AC units went out after running 24/7 wide open. I have R30 in my attac but the house, especially the closets top shelves were super hot. When I called the company and told them our AC died, the girl was very abrupt: "THAT IS NOT OUR ISSUE IT'S IN OUR CONTRACT". This is how she speaks to a customer who has been left without any updates for weeks on end. Unless you have 6 months to sit around your home, hoping your roofer just might show up today, do NOT HIRE THIS ROOFER. BTW, when they finally installed the roof shingles, they had not installed the solo tube yet. That means they cut away about 6 feet of the rubber membrane that is mandated by our state. The advised me that doing it backwards is ok, which is no relief to me. You've been advised and so has my accountant. REASON FOR AMMENDMENT AND 3 STARS INSTEAD OF ONE I amended my review so I could add details about the workers for this company. They were all wonderful, whoever came out to do the actual work. I set up a seating area under a huge oak tree for the men to eat their lunches. I definitely do not want my earlier notes to reflect poorly on the actual workers. Only the owner and office staff were completely lacking in communication skills. I know what I am talking about, my last job before retiring was Customer Support Manager for a nationwide IT company providing AV recording equipment for courtroom and police departments all across America. This roofing company does ZERO customer updates, they just text one evening, after being radio silent for 2-4 weeks "we'll have someone out tomorrow morning". SMH The first crew that came, I ended up giving their foreman a 12' ladder I no longer used and one fella I gave a rooster for his flock. Every worker that was sent out was a good person, working a hard job. My frustration, as you may understand, was exhausted by waiting 2 weeks to a full month without a peep from the company to let me know when they will come out again. The issue still remains that they took a full 5 and a half months just to replace the roof and install attic fans and one sola-tube. So, the moral of the story is All the onsite workers were great people and we enjoyed each other's company. The office staff and the owner, zero follow through. I would wait anywhere from 2 weeks to a month before calling them for an update and the first words they would all say is "we didn't forget you". All I would say is "I can't tell from here".

Their loss and I will now always be calling Sean and ARR for repairs ( even though my garbage HOA should have to repair the roof since it is a shared roof). When I called Sean he was very professional and was able to come out within the 24 hours to see what needed to be done. He showed up on time and was very thorough. He provided me with a fair estimate, and detailed everything that needed to be done and why. After accepting the estimate, we scheduled the repair job, which was within the next 48 hours. The repair went off without a hitch. Very pleased with the outcome. If I have any say when the HOA goes to redo all of the roofs, I will petition to have ARR do it!
