Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.

Last week I was told by one of their representatives that he would be coming back on a specific day. I waited all day and no one showed up and what makes it even worse is that despite my speaking with the estimator and he assuring me that all would be taken care of, they are now saying that this was a favor (unfrigginbelieveable) and was not part of the original work. If you have a small job, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, the miscommunication, lack of respect and blatant lies were impossible. I just told them to forget it. I have decided to work/pay another company to try and solve the same leak that was supposed to have been fixed several times becasue it is better than dealing with them again.

I had an excellent experience with both Luis and the entire Canopy team. Luis took the time to meet with me in person and make sure I saw all of the tile colors and samples before making my decision. He was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, the end result was perfect, and the price was very reasonable. Recently, I had a leak coming from an area under a flat roof that Canopy had not installed. I contacted the roofer who had done that portion of the roof to help diagnose and fix the issue, but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience (which I reviewed separately). I immediately called Luis to see if he could offer any advice or point me in the right direction. Luis answered the phone right away and, almost THREE years later, remembered me and addressed me by name. Even though this wasn't a part of the roof Canopy had installed--and they don't even do TPO flat roofs--Luis immediately offered to come to my house and help me figure out what was going on. He spent over an hour with me, listening carefully to what had happened, getting up on the roof to investigate, and helping me systematically test different areas with a hose to try to identify the source of the leak. After we thoroughly investigated the issue, he even offered to help me get a quote for the repair through a partner contractor who specializes in flat roofs. I am incredibly grateful not only for the quality of Canopy's work, but for the exceptional and genuinely personal customer service. The fact that Luis was willing to spend so much time helping me with an issue that wasn't even related to the roof Canopy installed says everything about the kind of company they are. I would absolutely recommend Canopy Roofing and Luis to anyone looking for a roofer. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, responsiveness, and personal care.

Will definitely be using this company for any of my roofing issues moving forward. 10/10 would recommend!

He assured me they'd connect me with a lawyer, and I signed the contract, trusting them. Fast forward 19 months, and although I now have a settlement check, this company has turned out to be an absolute nightmare. CMR is facing serious cash flow issues, which is evident not just from online reviews but from firsthand horror stories, like my neighbor who had to wait THREE YEARS to get her roof fixed. Now, after all this time, I'm trying to cancel the contract and am hit with the outrageous demand of a 25% cancellation fee--something Joey Scott conveniently FAILED to mention when I signed the contract. This is unethical, dishonest, and downright predatory. My insurance claim came to $26,000 (after a deductible of $6,800), and the quote CMR gave me was magically the exact amount needed--$32,800. How convenient! This reeks of manipulation and deceit. To add insult to injury, I've gotten 10 other quotes for the same work, all ranging between $17,000 and $21,000. CMR is now trying to squeeze $8,200 from me--a hefty 25% of the $26,000 settlement and my deductible combined--just for canceling. This is robbery, plain and simple. My goal now is to make sure no one else gets trapped by this sham of a company. CMR Construction and Roofing is a disgrace to the roofing industry, preying on people who can't afford such massive out-of-pocket expenses. DO NOT USE CMR CONSTRUCTION & ROOFING! Any 5-star reviews you see are likely fake. Stay far away from this predatory, deceitful company!
