There has never been an "upsell" - we've never been told that we need a new roof. The message has always been - this is what's broken and here's how we fix it. I always get a detailed (and understandable) report, usually with arial photos taken by drone. Work has always been done on time and professionally. Once repairs were made we've never had a problem in the same general area. Finally, Mike is the consummate professional. He is a true professional and gentleman. I cannot offer higher praise.

Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.

When searching for a new metal roof contractor for our Florida rental property over the phone from thousands of miles away, I was blown away by the responsiveness and professionalism shown by Jacin Carreiro and his company. I spoke with 5 different companies about getting a new metal roof and I was shocked that some companies never even called back. Jacin sent a team over to the house the same day that I called AND patched the existing leaks so that I could take the time to get all the estimates from the other companies with which I had arranged estimates. I decided on SeaBreeze to install a new metal roof because the estimate was very reasonable and Jacin was a pleasure to deal with. The installation went smoothly and looks amazing with NO leaks. I had hired a construction and painting crew to finish up the areas around the new roof and gutters that were not part of the roof job. Jacin took the time to show the construction crew that I had hired what they needed to do so that the gutters could be installed correctly without causing leaks. The crew I had hired had done an atrocious job all around. It looked terrible and worst of all there were leaks. I called Jacin on a Saturday night during a rain storm and told him that water was coming in. He was at my house with a crew within 20 minutes!! It turned out that my construction crew had not bothered to put in metal flashing like Jacin had showed them. Jacin then came over with his roofing crew and took off ALL the incorrectly installed gutters, did all the proper preparation, installed the new gutters AND replaced and painted new wood trim around all the gutters of the whole house without charge. He went above and beyond any construction company I have ever dealt with. He had already been paid in full weeks earlier and the leaks were not even caused by his portion of the job. He just wanted his customer to be leak free and satisfied with the job. Jacin and his crew are talented professionals that go above and beyond to do a great job. They were always on time, very competitive in pricing and cleaned up entirely when done. I even feel as if they replaced more rotted wood then was originally quoted at no additional charge. I had an excellent experience with both Luis and the entire Canopy team. Luis took the time to meet with me in person and make sure I saw all of the tile colors and samples before making my decision. He was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, the end result was perfect, and the price was very reasonable. Recently, I had a leak coming from an area under a flat roof that Canopy had not installed. I contacted the roofer who had done that portion of the roof to help diagnose and fix the issue, but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience (which I reviewed separately). I immediately called Luis to see if he could offer any advice or point me in the right direction. Luis answered the phone right away and, almost THREE years later, remembered me and addressed me by name. Even though this wasn't a part of the roof Canopy had installed--and they don't even do TPO flat roofs--Luis immediately offered to come to my house and help me figure out what was going on. He spent over an hour with me, listening carefully to what had happened, getting up on the roof to investigate, and helping me systematically test different areas with a hose to try to identify the source of the leak. After we thoroughly investigated the issue, he even offered to help me get a quote for the repair through a partner contractor who specializes in flat roofs. I am incredibly grateful not only for the quality of Canopy's work, but for the exceptional and genuinely personal customer service. The fact that Luis was willing to spend so much time helping me with an issue that wasn't even related to the roof Canopy installed says everything about the kind of company they are. Their professionalism was present during the entire process. From discussing the project with Juan to setting up the process with July Cruz, who was always on target and in communication with me, was top notch. The crew worked an entire day until my new flat roof was completed. Everything was cleaned immediately and no mess was left. The crew is friendly and the foreman gave me feedback from time to time. The next day, Mauricio and a couple of workers waited about 6 or 7 hours for the inspector to arrive and sign off. I truly recommend Canopy. All paperwork was provided to me timely.
