Rest in peace, Angeline Dexter
Alex D.

This was the church my Grandma Angeline Dexter went to. This was also the church that held her funeral service when she crossed over. It was a beautiful service and very respectful. Thank you to this church.

Me and my two children first attended Elevate about 8 months ago. We had recently moved from Dayton…read moreand I was looking for a church with a great youth ministry! The minute we walked in we were greeted by Pastor Adam and he started telling us all about their youth ministry before I even shared anything with him. I immediately knew this was Devine intervention! Soon after this my kids attended a youth night service and LOVED IT. We all met at Taco Bell afterwards where I was introduced to Pastor Adayja. I won't go into too much detail, but yet again Devine intervention Over the summer the kids attended Wake Summer Camp. I also served as a leader. This camp was OUTSTANDING! The spirit of God was so noticeably present. I also came to get to know Pastors Jeff and Jess. They have such a heart for God. Being someone who comes from a rocky past and who spent the beginning of my relationship with God attending churches online, I was so fearful when looking for a church that I would have to hide my past and my struggles. Everyone here has allowed me and my kids to be our true authentic selves without fear of judgement. So many of the staff and people we have met here are such a huge part of our lives and support system. These people really show up for you in day to day life. Not just on Sundays. My relationship with God has grown so much here! Every service from the worship to the message is simply amazing. Pastor Jeff preaches wisely, in a fun way that gives life. He makes it so easy to relate the message to every day life. Forever grateful we found Elevate. We love our church!

Queen City Church has a beautiful facility, great production value, and a very energetic atmosphere…read moreon Sunday mornings. However, my personal experience with the small group ministry was incredibly tough. I felt that the life groups lacked proper oversight, and the management of those groups felt spiritually unhealthy and exclusive. Unfortunately, navigating the cliquey environment and lack of leadership support left me feeling deeply disconnected and hurt. While the main service has great qualities, I personally struggled to find a safe, welcoming, or structurally sound community here. If you are looking for deep, structured small group accountability and supportive management, you may want to look at other local congregations.

Our family has been attending QCC for a month and has decided to dive into this life giving church…read more The story alone, from Pastor Brian, is enough to throw your hands in the air and say "YES!" The church itself is young, only 6 months old and certainly draws a "younger" generation (think gen z/millennial). However, my husband, not a millennial loves this church. It's a safe space for anyone and everyone along their journey of seeking Jesus. Bible based. This is a big deal for me. We've attended great churches before that are just sadly watered down. The team at QCC packs a huge punch of the Bible but still maintains a fun, witty, loving atmosphere. Enjoyably bible based! We've been accepted with open arms since day one. If you choose to check out a service and attend regularly, I very highly recommend doing the Growth Track where you learn about the church and specifically what gifts God has given to you. It's a very fun, short "workshop" that plugs you into everything QCC has to offer! Bonuses: free coffee and childcare UpdatIng: after spending some time here, we've chosen a different path. The younger generation just didn't relate well to us over time. If you're 18-24, this is the church for you!

I have been attending 7 Hills for 8 years and for the first time today I saw it from an outsider's…read moreperspective. When you see things all the time you tend to forget how wonderful they are. Today, I brought someone onto campus and explained 7 Hills to them. 1. Parking - I her the friendly parking attendants, the acceasability of parking and explained that in the winter there are little busses that give people rides to the front door. 2. Facility - I showed her the beautiful entry way and how impressive the building it is. The space isnt important for an "awe factor" as much as its important for people who get fearful of having a lot of people in a small space. People who dont suffer from this type of anxiety dont understand how important it is to not feel crammed in. 7 Hills offers space for everyone to feel at home. There are even comfort rooms and rooms behind tinted glass for people who may have special needs for their health. Very unique. Not to mention how clean everything is, even the bathrooms! 3. Attitude - The people volunteering and working at the church were friendly to my guest in every way. My visitor commented on how nice everyone was...not "acting" nice but genuine in their intention to make her feel welcomed. 4. Organization - my guest was impressed with all the working parts and how organized people who worked there were with the people coming in and meeting their needs. 5. Safety - She praised all the people who were making sure everything was secure and running safely. 6. Programs and Opportunities- As we left, I explained to my guest 7 Hills Small groups, service options, outreach programs, the conferences, SUMMIT training, the Worship Academy, the teams, the volunteers and I even pointed out the building where South Eastern University classes are held. She was BEYOND impressed with everything 7 Hills had to offer for every age group, life place and even how 7 Hills loves non judgementally on everyone in the community. 7. Staff - I explained the leadership roles of everyone on staff and she was impressed with how many people are available to meet the needs of anyone or any situation that may arise. When you think about how many people that invest their lives into serving God and the church its mind blowing. We were just stopping by the church to take our children to a program, so she didnt get to experience a service but she said for sure she would.come back for a service, even though she is Catholic she thinks she would like it. (I also love the online option to watch service). This was an overview and as I encouraged my guest to go online and fully check out everything 7 Hills has to offer...I suggest that as well to anyone else looking for a new church home. After my 8 years, there the aweee is renewed in my heart for 7 Hills and I am beyond grateful that I can call 7 Hills my church home.
