That's right, I am reviewing a church. I will probably have to go to church to repent for any of the negatives I put here but someone needs to review churches people, otherwise how are you suppose to know? I mean, you can go to masstimes.org to find the best times, for me it was always how late can I sleep but still get out of mass early enough to get Dojo [see my Dojo review for more information] , but this doesn't really tell you anything about the actual church. So here it is: St. Rose is old school Catholic. There is an organ, not a band. It is also an older building, but the inside has recently been repainted from a bright blue to a golden yellow. If you ever feel like just sightseeing, the church has a great view of the river with a bench and painted on the back you can see all the major floods of Cincinnati. It is amazing how high up the 1930s flood was! As for the mass, if Father Barry is up there, you know two things: 1. He is going to start with a joke 2. The mass is going to be shorter than an hour. As for the bad, be on time because otherwise you aren't going to get a seat and you don't want to stand for a whole mass. Also, if you get the other priest, be prepared for a really slow mass. Reeeeeeeeally slow. Alright, I am off to confessional before I get struck by lightening.
P.S. The church is on Riverside, which means one turn to the left and you can head right downtown and get Dojo! read more
