Additionally, I personally felt the Sunday teachings leaned toward half-truths rather than the deep, fully transparent biblical messages my soul was looking for. Pastor Moore is no longer at this church he is now serving God in Texas, but while he was there he did make it clear to be respectful to the neighbors and to the people who live on that street. But let's not forget Hill Street is an actual street so we shouldn't be upset when people are using it. Come check the church out sometime I promise you will not be disappointed. Annual "Living Cross" Easter drama is performed the three weekends before Easter. Upward basketball for the elementary aged children. Many wonderful singles, young adults, families and older adults. They used to be labeled as a…read moreBaptist church, but dropped the name, understanding that the church is bigger than the denominations that divide it. It seems that that was really all that changed, because they still hold many Baptist values as central in their services. There is a very dynamic service on Sunday mornings that does a good job of bringing the congregation together and keeping people from falling asleep. My wife and I particular enjoyed our small group consisting of young married couples. It was very tight-knit and we formed some lifetime friendships there. They also have a very extensive youth program that is run by very passionate people.
