My husband went right when they opened and there was 3 people ahead of him. 2 hours in and he was there!!! In the 3rd hour they had finally taken a culture however not submitted and basically no answer as to why he felt so terrible. Why would you take a culture and leave the sample with the patient and not send it for testing or test it there?? Waste of time and they are SO slow!! Literally as if they don't care about their patients. Urgent care should be faster than that especially if only a few people are ahead of him. Waste of time and co pay! We will be going to another urgent care in the city with much better service. I highly recommend going somewhere else! Even the ER because over here is just a waste of time. Read all the other reviews because it is really that true. Never again. Also, NP said the culture results should be out by end of day because after 3hrs he said he had to leave and still no call. We called them and they said it would take a couple of days for the test results. This place needs to get their facts straight.

Only Mike Frost FNP left his number in the window of the front door for his patients only! If you are another provider patient please do not call him. Thumb Butte and Dr. Haskari should be strung up by his thumbs!!! Mike will be back! He took great care of me for 7 years. As soon as he finds a place to land he will be back. Below is the notice.

I have been seeing Mike Frost for pain management and the first time I saw him, he was very condescending. I don't think he believed me when I told him about my back issues...3 collapsed vertebrae fractures, stenosis, arthritis, spondylosis, and a couple of displaced discs. Then I fell and broke my pelvis and while I was recovering, without any trauma, I had another vertebrae collapse, which pinched a nerve and I was in a wheelchair for about a month. Oh, yeah, now he believes me. I had some procedures done to hopefully stabilize my vertebrae but they didn't work and I am in worse pain. The Monday before thanksgiving, I had some paperwork I needed to give to Mike, so we stopped by and I gave him the stuff, in with the paperwork there was a note telling him how bad things were. He looked at me and asked me what was going on. He could see the pain all over my face. I told him the current meds weren't working, that we were going to go shopping for thanksgiving dinner and that I didn't know how I could do it. He said (and I quote) "Go do your shopping and I'll take care of you." Nothing. I called Tuesday, nothing, Wednesday, nothing, twice on Friday, yeah, you guessed it. Dr. A had given me his business card at one point and told me "If you ever need anything, call me. I'll take care of you." So I called. At this point you probably know where this is going.... So I emailed him - three times and finally, this morning (Wednesday after thanksgiving) his assistant called. She told me she would talk to one of Mike's assistants to see if I could get a doxy. It's after 2:00, and I just called again. I'd have my husband drive me over there but I'm afraid I'd go to jail. Rachel, dear sweet Rachel, the gal in charge of prescriptions is the only one who seems to get anything done. That's who I just called and she called me right back. It's not her job, but she got up, walked over to tell Mike's receptionist I would like a call back. Uh, yeah, so his receptionist is gone for the day, and Mike leaves tomorrow for a 2 week vacation. So that leaves me SOL, and up the proverbial creek. Yeah, time to find a new facility. Probably in the Valley, there's just not enough medical facilities to handle the growth. That would be my advice to anyone new to the area, plan to drive a distance to find a good doctor. All the good ones seemed to have bailed because they were overworked.

I was…read morevery happy with every aspect of my care from the first time I scheduled my appointment to my testing today. Cece did my mammography and Kimberly did my Ultrasound. Both of them were very knowledgeable and thorough. Everyone in the Breast Center was kind and welcoming. The staff provided me with the information on registering for the patient portal, which I really appreciated. Masks are required inside the Breast Center. Another stipulation to having mammography done is not having a Covid Booster within the previous 6 weeks, because of temporary lymph node enlargement. I really enjoyed reading about the charter donation for the Center by Sandy and Seymour Baskin, described on a large wall display. All of the equipment is state of the art at the Breast Center. I feel so fortunate to be able to have my annual screenings at such a Center of Excellence.YRMC's Breast Care Center was recently designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) by the American College of Radiology. The three-year accreditation recognizes that YRMC's Breast Care Center excels in all aspects of breast imaging and treatment. As a Registered Nurse, I recognize that this equates to outstanding care.

With a history of…read morecancer (melanoma) and multiple PET scans my primary and I decided that an ultrasound would suffice for new Fibro cystic changes to avoid more radiation. This center refuses to do it, wanting a full diagnostic mammogram. This is ridiculous. I'm assuming that with so many elderly patients on Medicare, the center doesn't really care about patients wishes because of they are told what is acceptable by the government. I have private insurance and know what I am comfortable with. The lack of compassion from them is incredibly disheartening, especially after they failed to negotiate a deal with BCBS and I've been waiting for six months. Once they resumed a contract, the scheduler called me and reprimanded me for not making an appointment immediately, threatening to cancel my order. Im in shock, and stressed, and we all know what stress does to a body.
