UPDATE: Well... apparently we really meant it when we said we'd be coming back because here we are again only 3 days later This time I discovered they have a creamier version of the Brown Ale I loved, served with foam on top, and of course I had to try it. It gives me a little Guinness vibe, but still has that Brown Ale flavor I loved the first time. SO good! I was actually expecting it to be even busier since it's saturday and there's a Padres game happening right now, but even with the bar being pretty full, the service was still just as amazing and attentive. We had a different person helping us this time and she was super nice and welcoming. She even asked if it was our first time there and chatted with us about the beers she likes and her recommendations. When I tell this place is great!! Hear me out, great indoor and outdoor seating. It's cozy, service was really nice with us. I haven't had a chance to ask his name but it was our first time here and he let us try as many beers as we wanted. What's funny is that I had a really hard time to choose my beer because they all tasted good. I am not an IPA person but even the IPA's were so good. I ended up with the Blond Ale. Great brewery!! Really cool brew spot. Lots of space for people to hang out including a patio in the back and seating out door in front. One of the few breweries I've been to that has AC inside so this helped with the humid weather. They have a rotating food truck system (check their social media for the vendor). Parking can be a bit problematic (seemed limited on spacing). Unsure if you can use the other lots nearby but we got lucky and found one of the last spots in this plaza. read more

Always stoked to see a new brew slinger enter the game. Good Pressure recently opened up shop in the Mission Gorge area and are a welcomed edition to the hood. The place is pretty spacious with ample indoor and outdoor (mostly covered) seating. It's clean and comfortable. The guy who served my suds was friendly and offered samples of any and everything. I walked away with a hazy IPA which was solid and hit the spot on a warm day but I also tried the limeade seltzer and would have been just as happy if I'd gotten that. Good stuff. Cheers! read more

Fun spot with really good vibes. Dog friendly on the patio/outdoor area, which we loved. It was also nice to see 3 different seltzer options since a lot of places only have one. Enjoyed talking to the staff named Eric yesterday. Love the space! Great place for a get together and it's very family friendly. Dogs only in the outdoor spaces. They had a bbq food tent out front which they said will be there every weekend. There are plans to have trivia night soon. read more

What an upgrade from the last place! Eric and Nelson were very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and beer scene in SD. The ambiance was great and very kid friendly. The beers are outstanding! I'm one to drink everything malty to hoppy but the standouts were the foamy cream ale and all the IPA's. This brewery is so good! I was so impressed that every flavor that was described in the beer I could taste! Usually when I see the flavors described I don't really taste it, but this one you can! It was International Beer Day & we wanted to try a new brewery & bring our dog. It was a hot SD Fri night & this new brewery came up & thought we would give it a try! There were 5 of us. We tried the IPA, the blonde & the watermelon seltzer. They were all delicious! I am not giving it 5 stars due to it not being as dog friendly as it could be! Most breweries allow you to bring your dog inside & this one does not. It was very hot & we were told we could go on the side yard with her. There was barely any ventilation & it was stuffy & hot which made it miserable. There are no tv's or games out there either which was disappointing. You can sit out front with your dog which has ventilation, but it's pretty crowded especially when people bring their grumpy dogs that don't get along with others. So if you don't have dogs & love good beer, go try them out! read more

Stopped by here before a show at Veijas. The atmosphere was great and the coffee beer they had called pressure point was awesome. The staff were friendly and prompt. The only issue is the parking lot is kind of harder to navigate if you're in a truck or suv. Will definitely come back when in the area. read more

Young but promising. Location is rough which means they need to learn from other successful breweries that are still around. In that matter, it's 100% about the beer styles and quality of those styles that will make or break you. I've been in the craft beer/homebrewer scene for over a decade now. Wish I remembered to take pics because we had a great time here! I saw on other reviews that this place was family friendly, and with cost of living nowadays, my partner and I have to be picky about where we spend our "fun money." And that has to include our 7 year old daughter. Ambience and setting were simple and welcoming. Loved seeing the boardgames straight ahead of the front door. Plenty outdoor seating on the front and side patios to catch some sunlight. We were greeted by the owner Erik (recognized him from their website) and instantly felt welcomed - he even acknowledged our daughter which was nice. Drinks were as described; my favorites were the coffee stout and the Blonde, while my partner's were the Pilsner and West Coast IPA (we left with a 6-pack of the latter). Saturday afternoon and the food was Big Dawg Burger, also delicious! In all we spent about 3 hours there, refilling our drinks the whole time and the bill was reasonable. Got to observe the crowd that varied between other families, some younger couples/friends, and older folks relaxing. Full age ranges represented here. These owners are very ballsy opening this place up during the great craft beer slowdown, BUT looks like they know how to do it in today's economic climate - open a spot for the locals and keep them coming.
