My wife and I have been shopping with Bri on and off for a couple of years. When she came back to…read morethis particular location we were glad to shop with her again. She always goes out of her way to give us a heads up on the sales happening and helps us with out Pro membership. Her service is impeccable and we commend her product knowledge every tome we stop in. We are unhappy to say the least that she no longer is at this location - as the new manager stated to us, instead a rude man (blonde) pressured us with a service to deliver our products to our house and did not stop asking. We will not be coming to this location again, and we will continue to follow Bri where ever she is working. We made a yelp account specifically just to leave this review so someone would see it and correct this. Ps, if it's not broke don't try to fix it!!!

Noteworthy employees are Isadora and Anthony, many wonderful experiences in store asking questions and simply kind and supportive exchanges. Isadora specifically is very compassionate and empathetic I have noticed not only with my encounters with her but her encounters with other people. Anthony was especially supportive and empathetic through the renovation process. Many of the natural grocers independence employees have been supportive but there are so many great moments I have had in this store with my kids and I will continue to return. Where am I? Is this a problem where people still shopping carts all the time? Is someone really gonna not steal it because they need their quarter? Hah! Anyways... I came in here because I really wanted to check it out for the first time I've been in one in Lee Summit and the food selection is very low budget, but I thought let's produce section out. I came here to find simple things like onion tomato maybe cilantro? I don't know if I expected that but just a basic staples they didn't exist. They have a lot of small sections of every name brands that I've never heard of and to be honest the prices weren't that much cheaper than going to price chopper and getting the price chopper brand. The prices for no name brands were actually more expensive than the Hy-vee/Price Chopper/Walmart brands. Not worth it when everything is hit or miss...nothing special. But on a positive note, the store is clean, and everything is organized properly. Now, if I really wanted to do shopping here in a generation where people don't even carry cash anymore... How do you expect me to do some shopping without a quarter? I don't know right from the start at this place already irked me. I'm not against holding people accountable, but really this quarter thing that's ridiculous. I walked out. I was looking for a handbasket nothing...
