Also, their lottery machine either never works--or the person who is attending the machine literally does not know how to use it. I forgot the name of what I ordered, but it was a chicken cutlet sandwich with cheese, lettuce, mayo, bacon, red onions and avocado -- and it was so good! The portion size was generous, and $14 felt like a great value. I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.

In the New New York late night options are limited but Hana Food remains consistent in churning out quality and tasty food regardless of the time of day. I've never been to Hana and left hungry or unhappy; they do what they do and they do it consistently and at still at reasonable prices given what you get for what you pay. You decide what you want and how you simply or complexly you want it made and leave the rest up to the masters on the other side of the counter. I switch up my order based on my mood but I'm especially a fan of the combination of the El Mexicano. Splendid Spoon is a meal delivery service where you put the premade meals into the microwave for…read more3-5 minutes. These places are great for people that don't want to cook and want to save time. Note that first time customers will get a $30 discount for the first 4 deliveries. They have a 7, 14, and 21 meal plan. You can choose to have food delivered to you once a week and can skip weeks as you deem necessary. All the food items are gluten free and vegan. Smoothies (16 oz) cost $10, bowls/soups cost $12.50, and noodles/entrees cost $13.50. With all this convenience, it is a darn shame that the food is so horrible. I have tried other food delivery services and this is the only one that fails to pack their food in the right temperatures. Whereas other places will put ice packets to keep everything cool so it doesn't spoil, this place does not. They claim to put dry ice but I didn't find any of it in my box. Either it sublimated or it wasn't there in the first place. They forgot to put two of my meals in my order so I wouldn't be surprised if the dry ice was forgotten. It explains why most of the food taste slightly tangy and spoiled. Some of the meal boxes were just completely open. There was one meal where the plastic seal was open. Now either through bad temperature control or not, all the meals I had were not good. One of the smoothies wasn't even blended all the way because of all the heavy chunks in it. Lastly, I had to chase down customer service just to get a refund on my missing items. Their claim was that the item had "run out." But if the items ran out, how come I was able to select them for my order. Overall, a horrible experience. Try going with a company that knows how to properly ship items so that they don't spoil.

First off, my location is central New Jersey, not San Fran, I tried to change it but it did not…read moreupdate yet. Regarding Splendid Spoon, good lord, out of the 10+ food delivery services I have tried, this is by far the WORST regarding order accuracy. Even their customer service department, who started at first being accommodating, has now become incompetent as well. It's a shame because the smoothies, although expensive at $10 a pop, are really tasty and there is a decent variety. Long story short, I have had around 25 deliveries from them over a year and a half, and at least eight of them have had an issue. The issues range from items missing from my order (this happened 3 times), items being opened and spilling all over the other items (twice), items being swapped out in my order without asking/telling me first (once), and items sent in my order that literally expired the day I received the box (once). I finally got fed up and cancelled my subscription yesterday, because after they refunded 3 smoothies from my last order due to subbing out ones I did not want, they then only sent me 7 of the 10 smoothies I ordered and paid for in this most recent box. The part of their company that does the packaging has got to be the most incompetent group of people I have ever encountered in a shipping business. They need to fire everyone in that department, including management, and then rehire with new trainers. Utterly frustrating and ridiculous.
