I requested a quote from several different companies, and Jayhawk exteriors was by far the most professional and efficient so I decided to go with them. Nick was our estimator and he went over all of the different colors of gutters and downspout installation options and I decided to replace my white and cream colored ones with bronze ones, and it turned out to be a great decision because they ended up looking great! They answered all of my questions and were all very kind and thorough with everything. Quickly after the quote was made, we got the work done and they were very quick and efficient, didn't bother my neighbors, did a lot of work out of their truck, cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away the old gutters and downspouts. Overall I was very satisfied with Jayhawk Exteriors company! Service was done Nov of 2022, and they still look just as good as when they were installed! I definitely recommend this company!

I needn't go into the gory details of events leading up to my contacting you, but your company made a terrible experience much easier. Everyone was on time, you gave solid estimates, were honest with possible aspects yet to be "uncovered", and, to everyone's benefit, juggled events around troublesome weather. I watched your people perform especially unique actions (during this Covid shutdown) which solved supply-and-demand problems someone else might've found defeating. Your team struck me as exactly that - a Team. Your Team Leaders were smart, personable, relaxed, and no-nonsense. The bonuses my wife and I received by working with you were not expected but are gratefully accepted. Any snags - and there are always snags in any effort - were corrected with no resistance. From first phone call to final thanks, I was not disappointed. In fact, having owned a business myself, I understood some of your pressures and saw nothing but professional finesse through it all. I will recommend you and your independent company to anyone who needs the job done right. You have my respect. Sincerely, Ronn Ives Virginia Beach

We contacted Ocean Roofing for an estimate on a partial roof replacement after a tree limb damaged…read morethe back side of our roof. Sid arrived on time, inspected the full roof and gave us details to make the best decision based on the age of the roof. After reviewing all estimates, we chose Ocean Roofing to do a full roof replacement and some siding replacement because of their comparable pricing and professionalism. Sid was very responsive and thorough with answers to the questions we had along the way. The scheduling person was easy to work with as we had to postpone work due to the Nor'easter. Sid's crew showed up on time at 7am, protected our landscaping well, worked efficiently, took pride in doing quality work, and left the job site clean. Along the way Sid let us know there was a damaged truss and his team repaired it. The siding crew also noticed a gap in the existing siding and came back the next day to fix the other side of the house before the cold weather. We did have some questions a few days later and again Sid was responsive and thorough with his answers. I highly recommend Ocean Roofing.

What a fantastic find! When I bought my house, I had new gutters installed with a leaf guard…read more Fancy! About a year later, a tree branch kind of bang the gutters and that's when the problem all started. I had a bunch of water eventually dripping from my fascia board. Not cool! So I tried calling a couple of other companies and all they did was make this way worse! Enter south side gutters! Daniel came out and was a super cool dude. I really like them! We talked about gutter size, colors and the best way to fix this problem. Got my estimate, great price! No complaints so I said sure, come on by and replace my gutters! Less than a week later, Colin and another guy came out to pop up these gutters. It took them less than a day. These gutters look fantastic! No gutter guard needed because they're 6-inch gutters. That's right, 6-in gutters! Better price then you'll find for 5-in. And I'm telling you, it's totally worth it. Take it from experience, do not fall for these companies that tell you they'll just give you a bigger downspout with 5-in gutters. That does not work! You really do need these 6-inch gutters. And these guys are amazing! I had zero dripping from my fascia board. These things look great! I actually hear water going through my gutters as opposed to just dripping all over the ground. Give them a call. You won't regret it

Sadly, i didn't research as much as I maybe shouldve. They bid about $3000 higher than 2 other quotes i had recieved (one of which was also a GAF certified roofer offering the same certifications) . After i signed, then they would not price match for some lame reason or even consider lowering the cost or including doing drip edge flashing which the other company offered to do at the lower price. Come to find out as well, they did not recommend it, or consider installing drip edge flashing when i didn't have any at all on the roof which i wasnt aware of. When the roof was off i could definitely see some fascia rotting adn damage, so i get to do that myself now instead of when its easiest to do with the roof off.... The actual roof itself seems to have been done well, which for the price it better have been. but I can't help but feel i overpayed and was underdelivered...
