Traveling from Chicago to Iowa during winter storm Elliott and the tire pressure light came on…read moreletting us know that one of the tires was losing pressure - quickly. Dropped from 28 to 25 psi while we exited I80 to see if we could get service in Spring Valley. The first place we stopped could help us out in three days. The next two did not have air. But - a customer referred us to Spring Valley saying they might have air. Not only did they have air, but they checked all four tires - and tried to figure out what might be causing the problem. Even though they couldn't make the repair - they helped us out tremendously with giving us air and recommending the near by WalMart tire Center - where they found the mail we drive over. The gentleman from Spring Valley refused to take any payment from us - even though he worked on the tire for at least 15 minutes. Excellent customer service. Seems to me that someone who is willing to help some random travelers at no charge - is the kind of person I would do business with if I had need of auto body repair.

From the moment I set my eyes on it after it was finished I felt like I had won the lottery. It was literally in better shape than the day I bought it! I was so worried driving it back home because I didn't want to ruin the mirror shine on the exterior and the immaculate interior that was cleaned to the very last detail. Taking pride in work is honestly an understatement. They go above and beyond that from the first call to schedule an appointment to driving the finished product away. I am not someone that does reviews, but would not be able to sleep at night knowing that I did not give praise and admiration when it is so overly due.

She then called a scheduled the tow and the guy on the phone said it would be ok if we came down the same day to pay for the tow. The day came and we find out after the appointment at Honda the car never made it. Confused here as he said they'd pick the car up at 9 and it was 2 and no car. We called and the guy was abrasive and changed his story to we had to pay before they would tow it. Had he made this clear the day before we would have made that happen but the way he made it sound was that as long as we paid it sometime the same day that would be fine and they'd tow it to Honda. I had planned on going down a few minutes ago but after my conversation I decided to write this review instead. Bad customer communication and rude.

She has had troubles with her car starting several times and was recommended to go to A&B. She dropped off her car and they called her that night and told her that they started it just fine 15 different times. They had her leave it over night so they could check it the next day and told her the same thing. Said there was nothing wrong with the car. However, the people who recommended them tested her battery and starter and all that and said it was coming up as the starter being low. And to take it to A&B because the first garage couldn't do starters. They didn't bother to do a voltage drop test on the starter cable and ground circuit, or check for a dead spots or inspect the neutral safety switch or clutch pedal switch. They just decided that since it started it was fine and not worth their time. We won't be going back. Although, from the sounds of how they treated her, I doubt they'll care.
