Cinco de Mayo 2022 started with getting rear-ended and ended with getting things out of my truck at South Texas Collision Center LLC. It was the first time I had gone to them for work, and to be honest, I had just picked a shop close to my side of town that was on the tow truck driver's list. Regardless of the accident, working with these guys was AWESOME; South Texas Collision Center LLC completed the work in record time. I could get out of the horrible rental I had been driving. Quick story: People seem to judge body shops on timeliness, accuracy, attention to detail, etc. Everything must be perfect, and it is not, nor will it ever be. I say this because I still rated them five stars across the board despite minor issues after getting my vehicle back. Why? When I returned, the shop did not give an excuse; I got TOP quality customer service and a way forward to fix the minor issues. Customer service and work ratings should follow the whole person concept, including their work and customer service. Even when and if you must go back for any size issue. As I said, no one is perfect, and I was hesitant to mention that I had minor issues, but I was taken back by their attentiveness and quick answers. I had to mention it to illustrate how well they listen to their customers. I will most definitely go back if the need arises; I have never seen customer service like this in San Antonio in my whole 44 years of life.

We negotiated a fair price, and then I moved on to finance. The finance manager was also very pleasant and professional. I wish the process had been a bit faster, but I eventually drove off in my 'new-to-me' Tundra. The only issue with the truck was a cracked windshield. Nick assured me it would be replaced in a couple of days. Although it took a little longer than expected, Nick was true to his word and sent a glass repair company to my home to replace it. All in all, everything turned out great and I'm very happy!

Terrible Experience - They Talked Themselves Out of a $68,000 Sale…read moreI walked into this dealership ready to buy and had a pristine 2020 Nissan Rogue to trade in. Unfortunately, the sales team completely blew the deal. They refused to offer anything more than the absolute cash value on my trade-in. I understand dealerships need to make money on trades, but I don't need a lecture about it. My job was to bring them a quality vehicle; their job was to figure out how to make a profit. I was willing to move forward, but their rigid "take it or leave it" stance made it clear I was better off walking. When I told the salesman I was leaving, he literally said, "Go ahead and walk away." So I did. I got in my Rogue and left without looking back. Later that evening around 7 PM, the salesman texted me asking if I had ended up buying a car yet. The very next day, I went to another dealership. They immediately offered me $13,000 on the trade (significantly more than what was offered here), knocked $1,500 off the price, and didn't push any dealer add-ons. I drove away happy in my new vehicle on May 1st with zero hassle. This dealership single-handedly lost a $68,000 sale because they wouldn't budge even slightly on the trade-in. If you're trading in a vehicle and expect fair value, look elsewhere. Very disappointed. They did turn the super loud music down. It was bothering me very badly by the time I came back in to talk to the guys so that was a plus at least they thought about me for a little bit then, as soon as I start walking away, the music got turned right back up, so that was kind of disrespectful.
