Shangri- La Records was up the street from where we had BBQ & as soon as we walked in, the records covered wall to wall. So much to choose from. There was a section with a setup of drums & a mic stand. Came to find out there was a jam session that ended right before we walked in. I really really enjoyed the Memphis sections, whether it was based off of a record label (like Stax) or an artist (like OV Wright). When I found the record I ended up buying, I instantly told myself that I was going to back as long as I'm ever in Memphis. 'B-Ball's Best Kept Secret' is super rare. NBA players produced + performed on the album. I thought I was trippin' because I always heard about it on podcasts & when I saw the tracklist I was like "OH SNAP!!". The individual who helped at the register (who might've been the manager/owner) was really nice & hooked us up with a sticker (I collect local stickers). Great experience as a first time visitor + consumer.

I visit 4 or 5 times a year & have gotten at least 30 "just what I was looking for" books & CD's from here. I am careful to buy only items that will be read or viewd more than once, or I would have to buy a new bookcase every year. Staff was quick to answer questions & give directions. May take half an hour (or so) to discover the ins and outs of the entire layout. Entire family should enjoy a visit. NOTE: The Germantown Library Friends Bookstore is smaller, but is my favorite library-related used bookstore in the Memphis area. I visit once or twice a week for all sorts of "modern" books & CD's at bargain prices, and for fine older books which often come up for sale. Have bought at least 150 books there this decade, some of which were absolute steals. It's a very inexpensive addiction.

If I ever had an issue with a game they'd always work to reslove it by repairing or replacing my purchase. If you have old discs (Music DVD or Video Game) with scratches that skip they will rebuff it & make the surface look like new & have your disc run smoothly.
