Artemio Perez might be good at some things, but he didn't work on my yard. He sent 3 young people…read morewith zero English, who arrived an hour late to clean my roof. They goofed off much of the day, according to my neighbor--although I thought one of the young men at least tried. They did not understand what Artemio and I had agreed on a few days prior. Finally, after about 5 hours, they called Artemio when my frustration rose up, and he denied several additional tasks that he and I had agreed on, including pressure washing my chimney top from the roof, and cleaning out my downspouts. They did end up cleaning my chimney top, using my own pressure washer, because they had not brought one. My house walls are covered in dirt from the roof cleaning, especially my front porch area. I was dismayed to find they had collected many piles of leaves from my driveway, which I had been saving for mulch. Even after I asked them to stop doing that, they still took away all my leaves! Now I will have to buy about $100 of mulch. They were supposed to wash my upper windows that I cannot reach. After they left, I discovered that my dirtiest upper window, which is the most visible upon approaching the front door, is still filthy. Instead they washed 2nd story windows from my porch and deck that I said I could clean. On top of it all, Artemio rudely told me I am "crazy." And today, I met with a professional roof cleaner to see about cleaning my downspouts. He showed me what a poor roof cleaning job I got from Perez Landscaping. I asked him about the stiff wire hand brushes they used, in addition to the typical brush brooms I've seen before. He told me those wire hand brushes could have loosened the granules in my roofing, and he also showed me places where the shingles had lifted up. Pretty disappointing. Perhaps the experience would have been much improved if I could speak Guatemalan, or if Artemio had been here to supervise and communicate. I will not call him again.

Not only did he do an absolutely fantastic job for less than the contractors I got bids from, but he also has incredible integrity: he forgot that we had agreed to 4 days worth of pay and called to tell me that I'd overpaid him. Who does that? That kind of honesty is rare in humans these days. I've been over every inch of the trim and the quality is top notch. There were several places where Casey had to do some pretty creative work to get it done, and it still looks great. I've already booked Casey for another job in the future.

We were made aware it would be a while before they could get out due to other obligations. We were fine with that. The roof was cleaned November 2024, and they did a good job. The person we spoke to said they weren't sure if someone could come out that day. We waited three weeks while water was coming into our living room every time it rained for a call back. We had to hire another roofing company to fix the leak. They fixed it in three days. We still have to fix the water damage. Then we got a text in January 2026 asking if we still needed to have someone fix our leak....seriously?!

Daniel had the best reviews of anyone in the area and I was thinking he wouldn't be available for weeks...but he got back to me right away and was at her place the next day to take care of her. When it arrived, it was clear that I couldn't even lift the machine, let alone try to figure out the instructions to assemble it. Daniel got back to me right away. He was personable, easygoing, professional, and could keep up a very interesting conversation while perfectly assembling the bike - even making it look easy!
