This place is so cute! So handy they have a drive thru! Walking in, wait is understandable since the food is hand-scooped/prepared in front of you. Banana Pudding ice cream is a must! I'll definitely be back just for that. Sweet Buttercream was very rich and super sweet for my taste. Pineapple Dole Whip was impressive, it was smooth and creamy just like from Disney but more of a ice cream than a sherbet like I was expecting. Waffle cone was a little stale but Oh well. Pricing is a little bit much but I'd say it's worth it since the scoops are huge! read more

3 of the ice creams were a ok. moon rocks 2 loaded 3 mint chocolate chip 3 The star is this fudge one in a waffle cone and 5 all the way. Got a milkshake and it was a 3 refreshing but not much chocolate or vanilla flavor, But the manager fixed the situation and was cool for that. read more

I got a double scoop, cake batter and pecan praline. Both were delicious. All of the staff were very friendly, and welcoming. They have a variety of sweet treats as well as a small lunch menu. Today was an awesome first time experience. Will definitely go back again. read more

I learned about Golly G's after one of my coworkers brought in the largest cinnamon buns I've ever seen! (Seriously they are the size of a toddlers head!) Since that day I've been obsessed and always had to ask her to get them for me since I didn't have one near me.... then came the Greenbriar location! I drive from Hendersonville to Springfield for work and pass by this new location everyday... dangerous for the waistline! The cinnamon buns are to die for and I've also tried their Chai Tea latte, also delicious! Today I got a free ice cream for it being my birthday this week, while waiting in line I realized I was hungry and ended up ordering a grilled cheese, chips, and root beer float! Loved it all and can't wait to go back for me! I wish I had taken photos but I eat everything so fast! Maybe next time! read more

Cute little coffee shop/ice cream shop. Stumbled upon this place while in town visiting family. I like the old fashioned gas station theme throughout this place. Very friendly service- you can tell they are knowledgeable and proud of their ice cream and the products they use. We tried a few different flavors but ultimately went for the coffee fudge and the triple chocolate fudge (had chunks of their brownies in it). So rich and delicious. I have been coming to Golly G's for years and have never had any issues with service until recently. Today I came in with my son to get the wedding cake and was served by a girl who I used to see working there all the time. She did not seem happy to be there at all. She was short, condescending, and obviously annoyed by our presence. I didn't appreciate her tone, and for the price of the the products I expect better. My son even commented on how unprofessional she was when we got in the car. read more

Food was great; however, there was one girl who was not very nice and came off as unwelcoming. I had the drive thru window slammed in my face as I was telling her to have a good day. I don't recall her name, however she had dark hair and appeared to have some pink mixed in her hair as well. I was just expecting better and kinder service out of someone who works in an ice cream shop, and should always provide a happy attitude. read more

I go to Golly G's almost daily for coffee before going to work. I crave their Sunflower latte. Their apple cider chai is also very good. I wish they had a banana bread or pumpkin bread option, as I don't always want a sweet to go with my drink. I will still go daily. I can order by calling and it's ready when I get there, which is usually about 5 minutes. Customer service from the kids that work there is always fantastic. read more

Delicious locally made ice cream. They also have other desserts, coffee and other drinks, and some food. The employees are kind and helpful. The restaurant looks great and has a nice covered outdoor area. We have driven to other towns for their other locations. We are so excited to have them close to home. read more
