Most of the business in this building don't have very obvious signage, so it's easier to go by the suite number (#240) to find it. Almost every door looks the same! The dentistry itself is bright, super clean, and the equipment looks just like new. Everyone who helped me during my first visit was so polite and genuinely nice. The great customer service even extended to the weeks before my visit, when they helped me verify my insurance and pick a suitable appointment date/time. My x-ray, checkup, and cleaning went very well. Dr. Tran was very kind, explained everything to me clearly, and didn't push any treatments on me. I wasn't given a passive aggressiveness "it's fine" or anything of the sort. They were accommodating and nice; I was able to get another appointment within 2 weeks time. When I arrived, I had mistakenly only filled out my COVID-19 form so I had to fill out the others while waiting. Be sure to fill these out ahead of time to not delay their patient load (don't be like me). I was shocked to see how generous, supportive, communicative, and directional Dr. Mashkouri was. Her bedside manners are incredibly polished. She was very thorough and she taught me a lot within a 15 minute timeframe. The rest of the staff is equally as great. I have pockets and my teeth require Arestin shots. Btw, the ADA code for arestin is D4381. In the past, I asked the front desk person who was in charge of billing & my hygienist if my insurance covered Arestin and they said NO. I've been paying $75 out of pocket per shot per tooth for a long time. Recently, I decided to call my insurance and inquire myself regarding what was covered. To my surprise, I was told my copay is $45 per tooth. I was left with no other choice but to file a grievance because the dentist office was no longer available to provide an explanation. I waited 30 days & the dentist office responded to the grievance and said they use code D9611 for the Arestin shot. I looked up code D9611 & it does NOT relate to any form of an anti microbial shot. Sounds like, they can throw out any code and hope this goes away. I'm sharing my story to prevent others from falling in the same situation.

The experience I have had with the dentist in terms of tooth care and treatment has been declining. I am experiencing a gum sensitivity to cold that I was not experiencing during the time I had a cavity or pre treatment. I was told that the sensitivity would ease in time but it has not. Usually, when post a cleaning appointment I leave with my mouth feeling fully revived. The last cleaning left me and my mouth feeling lackluster. I appreciated having my tooth care in the hands of a female BIPOC dentist for the last 10+ years. I have generally found the dental hygienist to be kind and charming in their interactions but my most recent visits have led me to seek out a new care.
