He then explained to me by watching the video that I was not opening my club face on the back swing and was coming over the top which I did not think I did. The video showed all my mistakes. He showed me the proper swing and had me work on that. My slice has pretty much disappeared! How exciting is that? On my last lesson he took me to the short course and had me work on my pitching and putting which was definitely needed. I will work on the things he has taught me in my swing over the winter and maybe I will see him again for a tuneup come spring. He was very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend him for anyone that has a slice or hook or want to improve on their swing. Thanks Duse! You are making golf fun.

I recently did a full bag fitting here and wanted to share my thoughts. I've never had a fitting before, but I've been playing a lot more golf and decided to see what might help improve my game. I'm playing with 15 year old hand me downs and used bits of gear, so everything is probably pushing 20+ years old. I had booked pretty early prior to my appt and requested James based on these reviews, but I ended up with Dane. I do wish CC had reached out to notify me of this, as what's the point of requesting someone if you're just going to get assigned to someone else? Was a little miffed about that. Having nothing to compare the experience to, I was pretty happy with the result. I did one session for the irons, trying over a dozen shafts and nearly that many heads. We ended up with something I liked the look and feel of. I was definitely tired and my hands were close to blistering so we called it a day and scheduled the 2nd half of the session for driver and woods a few weeks later, and even squeezed in a putter evaluation too. I am bummed to say, when I went to the second session it seems like a lot of the heads were en route back to the manufacturers to be replaced with the latest gear, so I wasn't able to try as many heads. Had I known this, we could have moved the second half of the fitting to allow for a wider variety. Overall Dane seemed knowledgeable about all the brands and was able to share his own experiences as well help me understand a lot of the baseline goals for the numbers on the trackman. He asked about my game goals (I filled in detailed info on that as requested by CC prior to coming, but it didn't appear to have been reviewed), budget constraints, etc. I explained that I wanted to see what was out there and how it might positively affect my game, as well as areas I struggled, and we went from there. When all was said and done, I didn't walk out with any clubs but I did have an idea of what worked for me. Dane wasn't pushy at all about selling anything, which I think is one of the huge benefits of CC - yes the fitting costs, but then salespeople aren't super pressuring you into clubs, and you don't feel guilty having "wasted" hours of this store's time just to walk out with nothing. The price here is expensive especially with the puring of clubs at 65 bucks per shaft. Its up to you really, frankly I wanted to know what it would all cost me for a full bag revamp, regardless of cost. Buy some, buy all, buy none, buy none. They'll work with you, and will let you know about manufacturers as far as how often they typically update their clubs and what may or may not get you a deal, whether thats at CC or elsewhere. Club Champion had an off season promo saying that if you booked and bought during and certain time and spent at least $500, you'd get half off the fitting. I had technically booked prior to the promotional period (the day of the fitting itself fell within the period) but emailed ahead and was granted the go-ahead anyways, no questions asked. A few criticisms, and the only negatives - I think the screens could use replacing, they'd been battered with balls and had some tears/rips. Also wear shorts, it's super hot in there, and I ended both sessions soaked with sweat! Finally I will add one tidbit that it seems like the staff could take their covid precautions a bit more seriously, masks were falling down and it might make people uneasy.

Many holes have water features that you hit over or drive over, and some featured very narrow fairways. Breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier over Lake Tapps and very pleasing gardens add to the experience. Locals joined up with us on the course and the Course Marshall found my sand wedge I left two holes back which was very much appreciated by me. Nice pro shop with the bathroom hidden behind down a long corridor. Golf course bathroom has a code but not working so a honeypot is provided on hole seven.

Having the pro shop on site for questions and trying new discs is a large plus. I played with my wife seven year old son and toted my 3month old son with us and had a great time. Everyone we ran into on the course was very friendly. The field is very well maintained and they have a good kids park as well. Just playing on the two sets of practice baskets to warm up for the actual game is a great time. This course has definitely made this a family bonding sport for my family. Finding things you can do as a family is one of the most important thing's in life in my opinion. Low down is, there are lots of elevation shots, wooded areas but no tunnel shots, nice signage, clear paths, benches, and beautiful scenery. Not beginner friendly. Yes, can be cart friendly, but there are some places where you will be pulling up a steep incline. Now for the deets... You will need UDisc to navigate this course or play with a local. The signage at each tee is nice, but does not tell you which pin position the basket's in. Many of the baskets are not visible from the tee, so you end up guessing where to drive. It would be nice if the signage showed the pin position. On most baskets, there are directional arrows pointing you to the next tee. And on some of the signage, it also show what direction to take for the next tee. That said, on many tees, you could spend some time looking for them. Use UDisc. I played in a drizzle and hardly anyone was in the park, so I can't comment on safety or how busy the park is. However, the baskets are DGA Mach 5 baskets, so 24 strands of lighter heavy duty links. These baskets have no colored band and so are grey. In a grey, overcast Seattle drizzle. Good thing it isn't very overcast here many days. [sarc] Therefore, it is difficult to see the basket. Pink, red streamers hanging from the basket would help immensely. On a few baskets, putting a fiberglass pole with a red triangle flag would be helpful as you cannot see the basket at all from the tee due to elevation, or a hill in the way. This is not for beginners, at least if they do not want to become frustrated. It seemed like most of the throws are long due to the elevations. For example, #9 is "only" 251' but you are driving up a 40'-50' hill. Many throws are like that. There are a couple, like #10, I think, that throws you off because even though there was only slight wind, there are clearings in through some trees where you have a head wind, and of course, sends your disc upward. This happened twice. This is a very clean park. There was no trash of any kind that I saw. A very pleasant outing in a picturesque park setting. There is a playground with minimal playground equipment. There is also a neat bike/tricycle track for little kids at the park. Brick restrooms are open in the spring and summer, port-a-potties otherwise. Benches behind most of the tees. I would give 5 stars if they would improve visibility of the baskets and indicate pin positions. There is supposed to be a pro shop on site, but I have no clue where that is. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

My original review notes generic reply if "PM me" and it leads to no where bc you can't call. There's no email. I've tried to email Topgolf btw. No reply either. You will get hung up on if you try to call. The virtual assistant wouldn't send us to a real person who I know is behind the desk.. actually staring at the 2 people just not doing anything but standing there. I physically go in to talk to the worker to let them know that customers are being hung up on and they said there was no physical phone number to this location and that it gets routed to a call center in Dallas. He apologizes but has absolutely no fix. He tells me there's a 60min wait for a bay. I swing around back and I see at least the entire 2nd floor empty! Over 34 bays are empty when they could let people play. The parking lot is 1/2 full. If there's no wait staff, then at least tell the patrons that there's no waiter service and I can just hit some golf balls like a regular driving range. You're still getting my hourly rate for just hitting the ball. This is why I don't ever want to book a party here. There's no way to even coordinate with anyone, the workers have no power/resolution. I mean, I WANT to give them my money but Topgolf is horribly managed and run completely not efficiently. This place could make so much more money but no one is listening to the customers. Money is actively leaving bc customers are being turned away. And the staff can't/won't help and don't even have phones to answer phones bc they don't get phone calls routed to them. Might as well not have them there bc what do they do but turn people away and apologize as money walks out the door??? I'm so disappointed. What, so I pay to wait while you refuse to allow me to play at the bays that I know is empty! It's like they WANT to turn people away.
