I ordered golf gloves but never received them. After thirty days I disputed the charge with my credit card company since the shipment never arrived. Shortly after this I received a call from a guy who first tried to get me to cancel the disputed charge by offering me a 25 percent discount on future purchases. After I declined he started calling me horrible names such as the N word. I just can't believe these guys are still business. read more

So here is why you should shop here- 1. They pre authorize for their orders (they wont charge your card until they have pulled it from their shelves to go out for delivery) 2. Friendly American guy making a living (Not a Canadian Hedge fund that owns say Golfsmith) 3. Less than half the price of MSRP on everything I saw in his online inventory. 4. A person would be dumb or have too much money to know what to do with it to shop anywhere else. 5. Free shipping still includes up to the minute tracking information Here is my experience: Do you find yourself yelping or googling a business before you order? If not, you should get your head checked. I went down to the local golf shop to pick out a Taylor Made Cart Bag for my dear and deserving husband, only to find it was $259. Went home to do a google shopping search and found this little gem. They have over 99% rating on EBAY, but had a couple piss poor reviews. One here and one on FB. Anytime a person says one word and has one review, I believe they cannot be trusted. So I immediately forget about the previous YELP review. Bright and early this morning I called here and spoke to Joe- just to ask him to give me confidence in sending my business from HOU to him. After a in depth conversation about the disgruntled customer confronting him on FB, I realized the customer was upset with the wrong business. Because of this single instance, Joe, being the customer service savvy individual he is has vowed to never do business with this unspoken third party coupon company. Three cheers for JOE!! OK- Enough about everyone else's experiences.. Had a nice conversation with him this morning. He told me how many of the bag he had in stock. I created an account on his site which is unnecessary, however I suggest doing so for all future orders your information is saved and he will call to verify the order promptly before he pulls it from inventory. He also sets it out for same day delivery. He advised me to check my email for the confirmation and to log into the account to see that my shipment already had tracking information available - SAY WHAT?! For someone who orders from Amazon Prime weekly- this is UNHEARD OF! With All this said, I plan to review the product once received. As for now, I plan to be a devout customer and send anyone and everyone here for great customer service and somehow even better prices! DO IT read more

I've had more than enough interactions both over the phone and in person with this store to tell you to stay away. However, I won't be talking about my personal experience. All you need to know can be shown objectively. Just look at the review thread on facebook with Andy Coggins. I don't care who is in the right and who is in the wrong in this problem with the living social, I just want to point out how Golfer's Edge customer service responded to the incident. They have 1)Called the customer a liar repeatedly 2)Claimed to be considering suing the customer 3)Made aggressive threats and 4)taunted him with strings of emojis. Here are some examples just to prove my point 1) "He Andy lied to his credit card company. He constantly. Lies." "Your lies. Continue and you don't respond where is the product you have for free." 2)"You have the product. And you have not paid for the product. Should we file a police report for theft. " 3) "Answer the question Andy coffins" "We hope you have a great day. would love to talk to you.. and we are looking....." "He should go away. And be happy he got something for free. Some people don't get it" 4) The emoji's speak for themselves And this is to say nothing of the grammar, spelling, or the fact that they consistently call the customer the wrong name. This is so unbelievably far from professional. Is this really the kind of business you want to support? This is unacceptable behavior for an individual, let alone a business. You will have a hard time finding worse customer service anywhere. Still not convinced? Well maybe you have seen some of the other positive reviews. There is one positive review on Yelp and one on google reviews. The only problem is that these reviews are word for word identical by different reviewers. How could is be that Ali. K on Yelp and Sarah Meyer on google have exactly the same reviews? Still not convinced this is foul play? Sarah Meyer ends her review by saying "This is posted during XMAS in the Customerservice we provide here at Golfer's Edge! We give great service and prices!!!" Notice the use of we. These reviews are obviously not written by genuine customers but rather by the business itself. So not only has Golfer's Edge harassed a customer who gave a negative review, but they also have planted fake reviews on the internet to try and trick you. Golfer's Edge is lying to you, plain and simple. They want you to believe they are a reputable business when they simply aren't. You won't find a nice thing written about them on the internet because nothing nice can be said. Don't shop at Golfer's Edge. Tell your family not to shop at Golfer's Edge. Tell your friends not to shop at Golfer's Edge. Don't a support a business that so clearly abuses it's customers. read more

This site has the WORST customer service ever. I ordered some balls and 5 minutes later called the first "customer service" number to cancel the order. A rude man answered and said "lady, I don't even know who you are" - then I called the 2nd number and for 5 minutes and 13 seconds, listened to this loon let loose with and "F**K" laden tirade about the effing choices we have for president, how stupid the American people are and on and on. I said I was just calling to see if I could cancel my order. He begrudgingly said at the very end, "Your order is cancelled". Next I see that my credit card had been charged and on Monday, I received the balls I had cancelled. I took it straight to the post office (unopened) and told them to send it back. The credit card company is blocking any further charges from the site. THIS IS A SCAM SITE - DON'T EVER ORDER FROM THEM!! read more

This business is a scam. I ordered golf grips which I received and paid for. Evidently they kept my credit card number and 6 months later charged my card for 150.00 for nothing. Keep trying to call told me to call back he couldn't hear me now he won't answer the phone. Handling with my credit card company and canceling charge but what a hassle. What business keeps a credit card on file for six months and then arbitrarily puts 150.00 charge for nothing. Stay away and DON'T give your credit card information. read more

BUYER BEWARE is right. Like many of the other reviewers our experience was dreadful and we still haven't received the golf bag or our refund. Ordered a golf bag which golfersedgeonline claimed was 'in stock'. After purchasing, received an email two days later that a case was opened on my behalf as the bag was coming from the vendor and would take two weeks for delivery. I emailed customer service after two weeks and no bag arrived to get the status. No response. I then contacted the seller by phone who was rude, obnoxious, and clearly has no clue what customer service is. He gave me some story about the vendor being out of town and having no control over the situation, told me to call back at the end of the week and hung up on me. I proceeded to call the vendor (Cleveland Golf) directly only to find out that he never even placed the order. They had only two bags left in stock but couldn't sell directly to me or ship out based on my purchase through the vendor until he put the order in. Needless to say, I contacted the seller again, keep in mind it's almost a month since making the purchase at this point. He was less rude and aggressive at this point. Apologized but said he still has no status and if I want my money back he'd process a refund. I said I absolutely want my money back and I even told him that I contacted his vendor and he hadn't even put our order in. Told him process the refund and send me a confirmation. He then spent ten minutes telling me it could take 10-15 days for my refund depending on my bank and that he couldn't be held responsible. I told him so long as he processed on his end and sent me confirmation, I would deal with my bank if there was an issue. He continued to tell me that he couldn't be held responsible for the time the bank took to give me money back. I reiterated, "just process my refund immediately!" He then proceeded to say that he hoped this situation wouldn't deter us from doing business in the future with him. Are you freaking serious?!?! It's been 4 business days since that conversation and a follow up email and nothing. No response to the email from 'customer service' and no credit to my account. As a Chicagoan, I was happy to give this hometown mom and pop store some business, but it's bad service and dishonest business practices that make you think twice. P.S. the golf bag we ordered that is no longer even available is still showing on his website as available. Don't be fooled by this guy. He's a sheister. Pay the extra $ and go to a well known site. We ended up having to do that and literally paying 4 x's what his bag cost when factoring in what he still owes us. SMH. Disgusted! Seriously, STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Too bad you can not select ZERO stars. Let the buyer beware. From the Golfers Edge website, my purchased item indicated it was was in stock and ready for shipping in 3-5 days. After (2) weeks I called customer service for a status, and the RUDE customer service rep, told me my shipment is expected later this week. The amusing thing is I never told him my order number. How was he able to determine the status of this item was being shipped without the order number???... I am from NY and this representative was "mocking" my NY accent. Obviously this website is a total scam. Fortunately, my credit card company quickly provided me with a reimbursement...STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Ordered a set of golf grips Monday 2/22/16. After ordering I happened upon these reviews saying it was a scam, so you can imagine I was very nervous. They were shipped by Wednesday and arrived in original packaging Friday, all accounted for. GolfersEdgeOnline.com is a complete joke. They took my order for golf balls, and charged my credit card, in January !...it is now May, and they still haven't shipped. Contacted the owner....and he is the most dis-honest person I have ever dealt with. First he tried telling me the credit card didn't got through. So I e-mailed him a copy of my statement...which shows the charge. Then of course he never responds. Just called him again....and he says he is " working on it " So basically at this point...they have stole $100 from me. STAY AWAY FROM GolfersEdgeOnline.com read more

Worst company I've ever purchased something from...Looks like I'm not the only one. If you're thinking about buying from this company...think twice and beware!!!!!!! Purchased the Adams Idea a120S iron set online as the availablity said they were "in stock ready to ship". After 2 week with no clubs I contacted the seller and got the run around of stock running out. Waited 3 weeks and finally got the irons. Opened the package and found a completely different set...Ones I didnt order!!!! They sent me the Adams V4 set without even asking if that was OK and AFTER I JUST WAITED 3 WEEKS FOR THEM. Contacting the seller again, he stated the clubs I ordered were discontinued and won't be available anymore. The seller agreed to refund me $50 for my inconvenience. To date I have not seen my refund for over 2 months. When I call/email the seller to try and get my money...he keeps telling me that my account was credited. So I've made several requests for a credit receipt but seller has not sent me one. Now he won't even answer my calls! Definitely not worth the time and the headache!!! Seller needs to take a customer service/running a business course! My opinion is that this company isn't even worth "1 star" read more

Don't order anything from this company, worse customer service ever. Took my money and promised delivery, no such luck. Unimaginably rude I had to hang up on him. Never buy from this place ever, ever. read more

Worst company EVER! I ordered something online, and after it did not arrive, I called to find out the status of the order. I got a verbal backlash! When I asked to speak to a manager, the clerk refused and threatened to cancel my order. Thinking I was dealing with a lunatic, I hung up and called back to see if I got someone different. But nope. I guess he is the only clerk there. I asked that he cancel my order and he again refused!! After telling me to go back to "Brazil" and stop taking America's money, he got even more insulting and degrading. Since I was not able to get him to verify that he had indeed cancelled my order, I hung up and called my credit card company. Meanwhile, the guy has called me three times to continue insulting me! This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life! I ordered the golf buddy for my husband for Christmas from this golf shop. I received an email thanking me for my order and another email saying it had been shipped. I ordered it December 9th. They promise a 3-5 shipping date. I called the evening of the 16th to check on the status and got a verbal attack because I had called after hours. Then (I'm assuming it was the owner) he told me that I had given him the wrong credit card number from he back of my card. Well, it obviously worked because it was deducted from my account! Also, he had sent an email to me saying it had shipped. This man is full of lies!!! I hope his business closes down! He certainly doesn't deserve to own a business!!! Shoppers beware!!! Order cannot be fulfilled by RJ Sports because Golfers Edge / Western Golf Shop does not pay their bills. Placed an order for a golf bag on June 26 with 2 day delivery - 3 weeks later it still isn't here and Joe made up lies that RJ Sports was closed for the 4th of July holiday for 2 weeks. Let's put it this way, I am not sure how they have any business. I placed a order, yes it was a special order. The website stated normally shipped with in 24-48 hours, but could take longer. That was fine because I didn't need the item for a good 6 weeks being a gift for someone. I received a email stating that my order was placed and they billed my bank that day. After a week I received a email stating it was going to be back ordered till after I needed it. At this point I was confused because they had already charged me but they didn't have the product in hand. So since the order was going to be delayed till after I needed it, I contacted the phone number and left a message about the order. I made the call after there working ours so I did not expect a return call at 6pm. Well I did receive a call from a man who worked for the company. He was very rude and started yelling at me over the phone. He told me I was dumb and could not read and started calling me names I can not put on this site. Then he hung up on me. I called him back on the number he called me from and he continued to hang up on me. Finally I got him to talk to me. Then he stated he would not cancel my order. I asked to talk to his manager and he told me no and hung up on me again. At this point I email the company email asking to cancel the order. I thought all was ok and the order was canceled. Well it wasn't. They emailed me that the item was back ordered even longer. So I contacted my bank and made them aware of this issue and to be aware of what is going on. I then emailed them again stating I wanted my order canceled and that my bank was informed of this issue and the BBB was going to be notified and my lawyer was notified of the issue and to have paperwork drafter up if this didn't get resolved. Well to my surprise the same man that called me again. He started the conversation by yelling and telling me I was stupid and asking why I was so angry. I explained to him I wasn't and all I wanted was my money back and the order canceled. He continued to yell and try and degrade me. It was a good thing I had him on speaker for all of my co workers to listen to his rant. I also recorded it for my records. After two phone calls from him that morning I finally got a email stating my order was canceled. A little over a week later my bank contacted me and informed me that he put the money back on my card. Everyone be aware of this company. They do not treat there customers right and takes a act of God to get things done. After looking into the company I found out the owner has owned a few other golf related stores that have been sued and multiple legal issues over the years. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! read more

Let me tell you the story of my experience with your company. I can assure you it is not pretty and I plan on sharing it with as many social media sites as I can find. I ordered my items on 3/10. I noted immediately after placing the order that I either could not or missed the option to make the shipping address different than the mailing address. I immediately called your company and left a message requesting a return call as I needed to change the delivery address. The gift was ordered for an employee that works for me and has been with us for 25 years, it was important to have the gift delivered to Missouri. I never heard back from anybody at your company and within 15 minutes of placing my order I sent my first inquiry. Again this was done on 3/10. I still didn't hear from anybody so I called back that evening and spoke with a "Joe." I explained the above and he told me to send an email to your company. I explained I had already done this but would do it again, which I did. I called back after resending the email and left a message. I received 4 emails with two different tracking numbers that indicated my items were being sent together but I had no idea which tracking number was correct so I left several other messages during the course of the next day...,all left unanswered. Because I never heard from your company to the numerous calls and emails I contacted UPS and paid an additional $20 to switch the order address. I provided the tracking number I was given that was for the golf bag. I then waited for it to be delivered, only to find out from UPS your company sent two different deliveries. The one I paid to have delivered to Missouri turned out to be the golf balls. I paid $20 to deliver $7.50 in golf balls. How would this make YOU FEEL!!! I called your company another time and spoke with George who made excuses that your bad employee caused this problem. He also told me he'd send golf club covers to try to make up for my poor experience and would speak with his supervisor to see what you could do to assist in resolving my issues. Here's the bottom line, employees of your company were unresponsive, inept, and unconcerned about providing me with assistance in resolving something as simple as updating s delivery address for my purchase. I was promised return calls from Joe and somebody else that I never received and your response to my numerous inquiries shows me you couldn't care less to takes steps to make a customer experience better. You lied and advised you would provide me with club covers, which I never received, as well as reimbursement for the shipping fee I paid again, and I've also never received. I'm still waiting for the golf balls I ordered and paid for that were returned to the company. This was the worst on line shopping experience I've ever had and I plan to tell anybody that will listen to NEVER purchase a product from your company. You don't deserve the business. read more

Since we are going out of town shortly we wanted to cancel the order so they wouldn't be sitting on our doorstep. He started getting irrational and then hung up on my husband. We checked our credit card and the items were charged to our credit card the day after the order was placed in conflict with their statement that items are charged when shipped.
