This review is for the spa, as I haven't stayed in the hotel.
The highs:
1. The staff, they were incredibly friendly, cheerful and pleasant, everyone we spoke to was lovely.
2. The massage, the 30 minute neck, back and shoulder massage was lovely, the treatment room nice, and the Elemis products they used were nice.
3. The afternoon tea, there was so much food we couldn't finish the cakes! A special mention has to go to the still warm scones and lashings of clotted cream.
4. The view, sitting in the outdoor hot tub in January looking out over the Moray Firth was just stunning!
The lows:
1. The changing rooms are a bit tired looking, more like an old council leisure centre than a hotel spa.
2. The sauna, the nails in the benches were uncovered so were really hot and burny when you sat down!
Overall, I liked it, and for what it cost it was great value for money! read more
