The manager spoke to him in such a rude manner. I couldn't believe it! What really blew my mind, was the gentleman was in a hurry to catch his handy dart ride on the lower level of the mall. He asked the manager if he would give him a quick push to the elevator. The manager responded NO and said he didn't have enough staff to help him. My mouth litterally hit the floor! There were two customers in the store. Myself and the gentleman. There were 4 staff members standing around shooting the breeze. I asked to quickly pay for my item. I then wheeled the sweet gentleman to the elevator and took him right to the curb to meet his handy dart. I decided to go back to the store and speak to the manager. When I confronted him about how unkind he had been. He simply shrugged his shoulders and said it was company policy that he couldn't leave the store. I told him nevermind any policy. We have a responsibility in society to be kind and helpful to those who need it. Period! I hope Golf Town has some much more compassionate employees on their payroll because what I observed today was absolutely shameful!

I would also rate it 5 stars when I can recommend the place wholeheartedly, even after a first visit. For example, a restaurant that was able to deliver a love at first sight experience would be a very memorable meal where we were wow'ed by its choice of ingredients, food taste, or food presentation plus it provided excellent service. And in this case, I had been consistently impressed by Rackets & Runners' product selection and their customer service on many repeat visits PLUS I can vouch for their 5 stars rating even from my first initial visit. No sympathy stars were granted here, this is truly a place deserving of solid 5 stars for the shoppers seeking expert knowledge and patient service on rackets and runners. Good selection of tennis rackets, pickleball rackets and running shoes. I didn't look for badminton rackets here nor did I seek help on other racket sports like ping pong but they have excellent service, even over the phone, so feel free to call their store before dropping by if you have questions about what sporting goods or brands they carry. I was referred by friends to come here to rent tennis and pickleball rackets before committing to a high end racket purchase and their demo program was great! I appreciated the staff knowledge and paying a small fee to rent an expensive racket for playing on the court was helpful. Trying demo racquets made a huge difference for me in figuring out my playing style and racket preferences. Also, the staff advised me on subtle differences in various brands and were not pushy in making a sale. The staff here are helpful and patient so I enjoyed shopping here when I am looking for expert knowledge for a racket that will last me for years. In short, their expert product knowledge and genuine customer service plus helpful attitude truly sets them apart. Finally, they do carry discounts and clearance deals on rackets & runners so you could score a bargain but consider that as a bonus. Also, I would opt to buy sporting goods such as tennis balls, pickleball racket bags or ping pong rackets online or at chain sports store. Prob easy to find cheaper deals online on Amazon or sale prices on brands not carried at this store but no outlet stores or online retailers can offer such a good demo racket program like them. So I recommend this store for shoppers who would gain benefits from their demo program or for shoppers wanting to try out a racket to deem if it is the best fit. IMO, investing in a good racket is great value for improving your game in the long run. (Yup, let's end review with a play on words lol) Ps. They organize a run club for a membership fee, scan QR code in photo if interested.

I randomly stumped upon this company during the holidays online when shopping for a golf set. I researched far and wide and put my faith in these guys. I'd say you can find it with these guys. I do admit i returned the original one i bought online because it ended up being too long the golf clubs but i ended up buying golf shoes/ hat and callaway balls in store and soon another golf set in store. Marc and Jerry were phenomenal with helping and answering all the billions of questions i had. My shopping experience was pretty seamless i'd say. It was a bit of a drive but once you're there it truly is worth it. They also price match in store, you're welcome!! Worst customer service ever!…read more WOMEN DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I worked hard to save money and paid almost $4000 in May 2026 for my first time buying custom golf clubs after 8 years of golfing with a discount Strata set, it's now the end of the season and I still don't have my clubs mid September. After factory complications that held up the order, in July I went to pick up my new custom fitted sr. men's Ping set (put aside in the back office - I was in a hurry on my way down to Washington for work) and after being ignored and dismissed while 4 men stood around talking, I grabbed an item and said I had a question about it, at which time they gave me their attention and I quickly asked them for my new clubs. When one of the sales guys brought it out, the first thing he said was, "have you ever golfed before?". That's not something anyone buying $4000 custom clubs wants to hear, but especially as a woman. How unlikely would it be for a woman who has never golfed to buy custom fitted men's clubs??? My experience, once I realized there was an issue with the order, did not get any better and I eventually just said that I'm not taking these clubs and I left feeling small and belittled. To be honest, I hid that I was leaving in tears and went and cried in my car. That moment of getting my new clubs was supposed to be so exciting, I've waited years to afford them and now I don't even want them. At this point I just want a refund. RIVERSIDE I've called you 11 times already today and I've been calling from all different numbers for months. Why do you never answer your phone? You can see my name from this review, please call me or just refund my card and you'll never have to hear from me again, and I would be happy with that outcome. p.s - William is an amazing and talented fitter, he is not part of this one star review. I'm sad he's at Riverside because I would go back to him for every additional club I need to add after this set, but I'll never buy from Riverside again, so I'll have to miss out on a trustworthy fitter who's deeply knowledgeable.

We did the entire 'snowboard alley' of W 4th and this place had by far the best deals. Not only were the prices better to begin with, they also carried more classic styles and colours in jackets and pants that suited my friend's fashion tastes. The staff were really helpful picking out a snowboard that was a great price, European-made and would last him for years. The graphics were pretty sweet, too. The board was freshly waxed and they set it up with the bindings in-store. In addition to already low prices and some sale items, the staff cut my friend a deal since he was buying a bunch of gear. When I walked in I felt out of place as most beginner snowboarders probably would feel. It just looked like a small, cramped board shop to me but compared to the other places, I'd take that over the stuffy, boutique type of shops the others seemed to be. Jess at West Coast was very helpful asking me questions to better hone in on what type of equipment would best suit me. She was super informative and didn't pressure me to commit to purchasing anything. In fact, she even told me to go to the other shops in the area to compare equipment and pricing. Pretty ballsy but it made me feel at ease right away. I went to all the other shops and no one made me feel comfortable about being there. Very few questions and assistance. Instead it almost felt like they were uptight because I may not have looked like a typical snowboarder. Needless to say I went back to West Coast and bought the lot, about $1500 worth of equipment. Then I put it to use going up to Whistler the next four days and loved every second of it. The board (Bataleon Goliath) performed great and my feet felt perfect throughout every run. Lastly, I would've given them 5 stars but the person helping my girlfriend with her ski boots was unknowledgeable and not a very big help to her. If you do go to this place go see Jess. There was another Aussie guy behind the counter that was giving his input and helping me out as well but I didn't catch his name. Mahalo, K
