Nice place to hit balls. Really nice clubhouse/Pro shop…read more Wish they had a short game area. This place could be world class with those amenities Lots of targets to aim for. Most importantly GREAT grass to hit from. Plush and lush. Well manicured Prices decent. $11 for 100(claims 110-125) but I always got 100. Plenty for most people. Haven't found a better place in the area to practice.

It was a top to bottom fun, personalized, and intelligent shopping experience. Brannon, the owner, helped us out. He walked my boyfriend through with his purchase, without a thought of what was on the floor/in stock or the price tag. I, personally, don't know much about golf (grew up in the tennis world), but Brannon made it easy for even me to understand. He ended up down to the wire picking between two, and Brannon had the patience and honesty to help him make his decision. I can tell Brannon and his team knows all the ins and outs of purchasing your golf investments. Not to mention their state of the art technology can do no wrong. From a spectator's perspective, it was honestly a fun experience. I grabbed a tasty "tiger woods" vodka drink and chips and salsa. All were welcoming, kind, and genuinely passionate about working there. 10/10 would recommend the Arkansas Golf Center for all your fitting needs. And in the words of my boyfriend: "I thought I knew everything there was to know about golf, but Brannon knows every spec there is when it comes down to finding the perfect shaft or club. Regardless of the club or whatever your swing is, this is the man that will find it for you"

This course has 2 18 hole tracks. The easier "Tournament" course and the harder "Championship"…read morecourse. From what I can tell, the Championship course is also used for foot golf (golf using soccer balls). I played here on a Thursday afternoon. The staff seemed friendly enough. I was advised that the Tournament course was easier but wasn't in as good a shape as the harder Championship course. I chose the Championship course. Thank God I got in under the senior rate (55 and over). I paid $22 for the round. It was barely worth that. The course just isn't in good shape. Tee boxes were OK only. Greens were decent. Fairways were pretty awful. There just isn't enough grass. Most fairways are tree lined and there's not much more than some weeds and mud under the trees. Even attempting to improve a sparse lie in the fairway is difficult as there just isn't much grass. The scorecard indicates there's marker poles set up at 100, 150 and 200 yds. There were only 150 yd poles that I could see. The course itself is somewhat difficult to follow. I was on the 9th hole and saw 2 flags, one for the ninth and the other for the 18th. I wound up hitting towards the 18th green not knowing any different. Even finding the 1st and 10th tees on the Championship course requires asking a marshall as nothing is marked. Gas powered carts but they're r-e-a-l-l-y slow. I don't drive like Mario Andretti but the cart I had just sort of sputtered along. They were re-paving the golf paths, I'd suggest they skip that and concentrate more on getting the fairways in shape. We're close to May and I was forced to play lift and place because too many shots that landed in the fairway had mud on them due to the lack of grass. Unless you can get a deal I would advise not playing here for full price.

Overall, the prices are "okay" but the staff is typically not very helpful. However, I did have one over-the-top experience that I would like to share. My wife and I bought a new, rather expensive BBQ grill for Memorial Day weekend in 2011. We were expecting to buy a grill that we had to assemble, but the model we wanted was out of stock, except for the already-assembled floor model. The manager offered us the floor model for a small discount, and we decided to take it. Two staff members helped me load it in my pickup truck, but didn't have anything to help me tie it down with. I didn't bring any tie-down straps when I came to the store, because I was expecting to buy an unassembled grill in a box. I was a little nervous, as the grill was very top-heavy. I'm not exactly sure HOW it happened, but on the drive home we had to swerve to avoid something in the road, and the grill tipped over, fell out of the truck, and smashed into the roadway. It was badly mangled and completely ruined. We assumed that we were completely out of luck. When we got home, my wife called up the store manager to tell him that we wanted to order another grill. She explained what happened, and the manager said he would replace the grill at no cost to us. We weren't expecting that, but he insisted that his employees should have tied down the grill in the back of the truck before we left. It took about a week for the new grill to arrive (in a box this time), and as promised, the store replaced it without any problems. Now that's what I call customer service!

I kept getting hung up on. Rather than they actually pick it up, & say, "Academy Sports, how can I help?" I have only tried to call because the internet you have is full of lies. There's absolutely zero boxes of .40S&W ammo on your shelves at all. I looked myself yesterday. Only reason, I was trying to call either store. Is to see if either, actually have a single box or two in stock & on the shelves. In JHP, so I can actually purchase it. However, because I was lied to. Then hung up in so many times. I'm going to boycott buying anything else from you. Not that you care, but your employees need to learn good customer service, as well as not. Just straight up lying to a customer's face
