I went in to buy what I hope is my LAST full set of golf clubs. I went in wanting to buy Cobra, Ping, or Callaway women's clubs. The only ones they had available were the Callaway Reva. There was no one to help me when arrived, but I inquired at the desk in the middle of the store and he paged an associate to come and assist me. Less than 5 minutes later, Tim came to help show me what they had in stock. He offered to tape up the clubs and let me go to the indoor range to take a couple swings. I fell in love with the clubs and the rest is history. I paid a pretty penny for my clubs. I was told they worked on commission so maybe that's is why they were friendly. Either way, customer service was fine no complaints. And I am positive I will return again. read more

This place needs to be talked about for the best place in DFW to do your golf needs. Went in to check out some trade ins for a putter and they gladly took a few of my wedges to drop down the price of a great pre owned Scotty Cameron Newport 2. Two years ago I gave this store one single star because the sales associates ignored women golfers. The selection of clothes and clubs are good but they were NOT female friendly. Today, I had a MUCH better experience. The check out guy greeted me when I walked in and another sales guy came to me in the ladies dept. and offered to help. I didn't need help but what an IMPROVEMENT! Corporate must be reading our reviews because service is much better. GG has very stylish golf clothes at reasonable prices, a nice selection of clubs (even ladies left handed clubs) and lots of golf tech. I will definitely be back. read more

If you read some of the other reviews you will hear about customer service. I would agree that no one came to help us, we did have to ask. But after that David spent over an hour with my wife and I to help us find the right set of clubs for each of us. We spent another 30-45 minutes just swinging in the range trying different clubs out. For the first time buying clubs, I would rate the experience as a great experience, mainly because the amount of time spent with us. David helped my wife not only find the right fit clubs but helped her with some pointers. read more

I went into the store over the weekend to buy a driver and a golf bag. Shortly after I walked in, Golf Galaxy employee Jeff approached me and asked if I needed any assistance. I told him what I was looking for, so I asked for his opinion. He provided his opinion and I ended up buying a driver that was on sale with almost $200 in savings. Jeff didn't steer me to the most expensive driver or bag, he just answered all my questions and provided great customer service!! read more

Tim gave the absolute worst customer service I have had my entire life. We called before hand to see if they buy incomplete golf club sets. They said yes. We drove all the way here and as soon as we walked in the guy said "we don't buy clubs that aren't full sets and those clubs are older than I am so they're absolutely worthless, you couldn't even get anything at a garage sale." They shouldn't of said on the phone they buy incomplete sets if they don't AND he could of just said they don't buy those and he didn't have to go on about them being "worthless." Do NOT buy protection planfor golf gloves from GG anymore. Before, you would simply bring in the worn out glove and get a new one...with the purchase of the plan. Now you jump through so many hoops and in the end (I hope the end of this process), they want you to take your old golf glove to UPS, wrap it in bubble wrap, box it up and send it back. Spending more on returning the glove than what it's worth. Ridiculous! read more

So this is a very nice store and the help is quite friendly. I did buy a brand new golf bag with a big sign on it offering free personalization. Come to find out that offer was expired and that my new bag was a 2020 model. Their prices are kind of high even for the little stuff. While they do offer price matching, if I have to go through the trouble of finding a better offer, I may as well buy it from someone else. read more

DO NOT GET CLUB WORK HERE!! They completely messed up a grip replacement on my whole bag. I showed the manager the grips and even he agreed that they were unacceptable. They told me they would replace them but apparently the "builder" was not happy that I didn't accept horrible looking grips and he completely botched the second regrip. They were twisted, cords popped, flared. They dont even look like new grips and they are a day old now. They offered to replace the grips again if I bring them back, but at this point I have to assume that they will never be done right at this store. I have already found new grips online and will be finding an actual club builder with some pride to put them on for me. Please learn from my lesson because if I had the choice again I would've just left the grips I already had on my clubs, they honestly looked better than what I have now. read more

This place wasn't always this bad! Not sure what happened but there was 3 employees total. I requested a little help and was denied! When it time to check out two of the three employees were on the same register and paged for the third one to help. The third one was the same guy that denied me help earlier. Never been one to write reviews but I have now had two negative experiences ordering golf clubs from this store. The first was back in 2019 when I tried to order a set of black p790s soon after they came out and when they arrived at the store they were the wrong shafts and they were not even the black p790s so I got a refund. Fast forward to 3/9/21 I got fitted and ordered a set of p790s with KBS Tour shafts and was told the wait is 4-6wks. Brandon handled the order in store and I saw him choose p790 clubs on the computer but something malfunctioned with that order so he redid it and it wasn't until 2 weeks later I realized he mistakingly selected P770s when reprocessing the order. So I call them as soon as I realize the error on the order receipt and they try to correct the error by calling Taylormade to get them switched to P790s, which I had been told was successful. Then they call me again to say I wont get the clubs until mid June due to KBS shaft availability. I called them last week for an update on the order and I get hung up on twice, the third time someone finally takes my name and number down and tells me "Roy" (I believe is the correct name) will call me back the next day. During this conversation the store employee looked up my order told me the order was still showing p770s. I have not received a call back from anyone at the store and I am just tired of dealing with them. I don't know why this store has such horrible customer service but this is ridiculous. I gave this store a second chance for ordering a custom set of clubs and yet again it was a bad experience. read more

I went here a few months ago and had a horrible experience. I would have left, but the specific item I needed was only sold here and I needed it for Father's Day. I walked in and as soon as I walked in the gentlemen by the door looked at me and took off towards the back. No greeting. I walked around aimlessly for a while and then finally went looking for someone to help me. I went to the front counter where there were no less than five guys standing around talking, ignoring customers. I had to knock on the counter and ask if some could please help me. What I needed was behind the counter, so the guy threw it on the counter and walked off. Another worker checked me out. I had to ask for a bag to put the item in. I'll never go back in. The workers were very rude and unhelpful. I assume it was because I didn't look like a "golfer" and they figured I wouldn't spend any money there. read more

I purchased a New Twist face driver from the Golf Galaxy in Arlington TX. a week ago. I went out and played one round with it then noticed that shaft was cracked about 12 inches for the driver head. I went back to the store with receipt in hand and was met by the manager. Instead of asking me how can I help you , the first thing he said to me was "did you buy it used" after he saw my receipt the next thing he asked me was "what did you do to it". I have purchased thousands of dollars of golf equipment from this store and was very disappointed at the treatment that I received. This is absolutely the last time I buy anything at this store and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
