Had my swing evaluation and 30 min intro lesson with Logan yesterday. Overall, it was an incredible experience! Logan knows his stuff and knows how to break the swing down. We looked at inconsistencies in my swing and attacked them piece by piece. It was incredibly helpful being able to see my swing frame by frame to highlight what was going wrong, and what was going right. Logan showed me some really great drills to practice on the range to help my ball compression. Also, really appreciate how there was no pushy sales tactics regarding booking another lesson. 100% will be booking another lesson. Took lessons from an older gentleman a few months ago who almost turned me off from seeking "professional" help; so glad I didn't. I'm a month and a half into golfing and... I'm self taught so I may or may not have a TON of bad habits HAH. I took a lesson with Daniel and the clubs I had been whiffing (literally the night before at the range) became solid contacts!!! Daniel was SO patient with me and I'm actually very happy that I decided to take a lesson with him! He is so knowledgeable - Like I was skeptical about taking a lesson from a guy because of the physical difference between males and females but he was the one who actually showed me the correct stance and angle based on my specific center of gravity which is lower. Even though the camera wasn't working when I took a lesson, I can tell I got a lot better because I can actually hit the ball AND hit it straight! I am truly shocked that he was able to fix me. This review is for Joe at the Irvine location. I came in with a decent ability to hit the ball, but knew that many parts of my swing were flawed technically. In the first lesson, Joe was able to immediately diagnose the issues with my swing and point them out in the two different video feeds. He was able to show me issues and teach me how to fix different issues in my swing, such as setup/grip, backswing, downswing, wrist supination, etc. I now have various drills to do regularly and know what adjustments I have to make. I ended up buying the largest lesson package and feel like I have made substantial improvements through the numerous lessons. Each lesson Joe is able to point out different insights to keep helping me improve. In addition, Joe is extremely friendly and a pleasure to be around. 5 stars all around. read more

I had just started getting into golf (played 6 months) before coming to Golf Code 360. Logan was my golf instructor. I booked the five lesson package right after the initial swing evaluation and 30 minute lesson. First four 1 hour lessons, were focused on the irons. By the end of the first four lessons, I was able to strike my irons consistently (with 2-3 driving range session in between each lesson). The last lesson he introduced the driver to me and I was able to get a few good hits which was more than enough to be able to practice it on my own at the driving range. I highly recommend trying out the swing evaluation and 30 minute lesson before committing to more lessons. read more

I can't thank Logan enough for the lessons I took with him. It was truly transformative. Resulted in consistent contact and gained 30 yards in distance per club. Before the lessons, I struggled with inconsistent contact and lacked distance and swing speed. He first worked on analyzing my swing mechanics and pinpointed on correcting all the basics from proper stance, grip, grip pressure, and my biggest correction, my take away. When he gets into all the details, I had multiple light bulb moments to where it all stated getting consistent. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this one is overdue. I started working with Logan about 9 months ago after a frustrating golf weekend with my son and a couple of his friends. At one time, I was a halfway decent player and really enjoyed the game. After this particular weekend, I knew if I didn't get help, I wouldn't be playing much longer. At some point during the weekend, I said I was going to stop playing golf and start playing rugby. Logan slowly and patiently rebuilt my swing. Logan can quickly identify what you need to do to improve and show you what is going wrong with your swing by using video that records you from the back and side. When I first went to Logan, I wasn't even bothering to keep score because I would just pick up the ball so often and not complete the hole. Then when I did start to keep score again, I was shooting low 90's. Logan began to also emphasize course management and decision-making. All of the work finally paid off this week. I played Arrowood in Oceanside from the equivalent of the white tees and shot an 81. I have never hit my irons better. My driver has been straight and in play almost every time. The game is fun again. I have taken many golf lessons from pros at local golf courses, so I have that for comparison. The combination of Logan's instruction and the technology of seeing everything on video with the launch monitor, takes the guesswork out of your progress. I was driving the ball about 220 at best when I first started with Logan. Now, my ball speed is up about 10-12 mph, and my distance has increased 30-40 yards due to the combination of ball speed plus much better/consistent contact. I have already recommended several friends see Logan to improve their games, now I am recommending you do the same. Just don't try to take my regular lesson time Thursday mornings. :-) read more

As a fairly new golfer, I struggled with my swing, open club face at impact, no power, not great contact and when I did make contact I was scooping the ball. I couldn't figure out how to fix it on my own and through other instructors until I worked with Logan. After taking both a 5-class and a then a 10-class lesson with Logan, my game has completely transformed. I even took a 1 month break for travel without picking up a club and when I came back it was like I never left. Logan is an incredible instructor--he has a great way of breaking things down, helping me understand what I should be doing versus what I am and even giving me the right drills to practice at the range on my own. My contact, ability to hit close the club face at impact, and my power have all improved drastically from when I first showed up at Golf Code 360. TLDR: I came to golf 360 as a complete "newbie" and Trebor gave me the tools needed so I could enjoy a weekend of competitive golf with friends! When I began my lessons my golf experience consisted of going to the driving range and just trying to hit the ball. Trebor broke down the swing into multiple parts : contact, wrist motion, back swing, hip motion, etc. this methodical approach allowed me to develop a consistent swing to not only hit the ball but to correct my swing if it was deviating from my desired direction. Additionally Trebor went over how to properly swing a driver to create some solid distance while maintaining the proper lines. He gave me the necessary tools for the green as well with putter lessons. As an objective attendee of golf 360 I highly recommend Trebor as your instructor to learn or improve your golf game! read more

I made sure to practice a lot between lessons (2-3 range sessions) using what I learned and the drills he gave me. This review is long overdue. I took 15 lessons with Dylan and he totally improved my golf game from when I first started. The main principle is making great contact with the ball, and he taught me how to do that. The form, grip, posture, stance, etc. all that came later, but the foundation is striking the ball and making great contact. If I didn't understand something, what he wanted me to do, or terminology, he was open to answering the questions I had. I recommend definitely investing in lessons as this sport is very frustrating. They have a nice set-up with dual position monitors to analyze your swing. I recommend taking lessons every other week so you have ample time to go to the driving range and work on what was taught throughout the week. read more

It was the beginning of the Covid pandemic and everything was closed. I couldn't ball because the courts were closed and I couldn't bowl because the alleys were closed. So Golf unexpectedly took over as the main sport in my life after casually hitting balls at the range blindly not knowing what I was doing wrong. I decided that since this would be my main sport that taking lessons would be a great investment so I went on lessons.com and signed up for lessons and the first person to respond would get my business. It was Jay that got a hold of me first and set me up with a swing analysis with one of his teachers. Enter Dylan. The man that changed my life. On swing analysis he let me swing a couple of balls and recorded my swing on their high tech simulator. He told me that my unhinging was too early and should be unhinging a lot later. Me as a noob Golfer didn't even know what I was doing wrong as I was just hitting golf balls for fun. I signed up for the 5 lesson package with 5 lessons added on, and the rest is history. THE FIRST LESSON I learned so much about the body in terms of Golf. From body limits from the forearm to how to make sure the golf club is square when you grip it. And as the lessons went on he built my swing from the ground up (I will forever hear his voice in my head: "knees bent, left arm straight, HAH, etc."). But you know what's funny? What Dylan taught me during Golf lessons for some odd reason applied to my everyday life. When he taught me how to address the ball one of the main aspects of address is having a straight back. We were practicing that for one whole lesson. Ever since that lesson I've been walking around with a straight back and shoulders pulled back and for some reason it made me feel more confident in myself when out and about. And when I was walking around my workplace with my newfound posture one of my coworkers asked me "did you lose weight?" I didn't lose an ounce of fat, but I did appreciate the complement and I knew it was because of the posture Dylan taught me during Golf lessons. Speaking of everyday life, besides the invaluable knowledge he gave me about Golf, Dylan told me something that I will remember for the rest of my Golf career, and until the day I die. He told me (paraphrase): "You have to be confident in yourself. If you're not confident in yourself, you will freeze up, and you will end up with a bad swing. If you're confident in yourself it will reflect on your swing and in your life." So if you're iffy about signing up here. Don't. You're in good hands when you sign up with Dylan. Not only is he a great golfer but he's a great person that is easy to talk to and very patient with you. I may have straightened my knees during my backswing after him telling me a thousand times to keep them bent but he will tell you until you get it right haha. Thanks Dylan for everything. I made my way to Golf Code 360 with no golf experience and 16 years of softball under my belt. I was nervous that my lack of golf experience and my softball swing would set me up for failure, but the minute I started working with Logan he increased my confidence to adapt and developed our lessons based off of what would translate for me from softball to golf. For reference, I have had lessons before in various settings and had gotten as low as a 4 handicap around peak covid. Starting my lessons this time around I was about an 9 handicap (and rising). I was coming off a year to a year and a half of playing bad golf with bad contact with my irons and driver. I had begun to lose some of my passion for golfing and trying to get better. I decided to give it another shot and singed up with 5 lessons with Logan. Halfway through the first lesson I was already making strides in my ball striking, compressing the ball and beginning to remember what the center of the club face felt like. Logan does a very good job at explaining the golf swing in simple terms, but also has the knowledge to get more technical if that is what you are looking for. We worked specifically on improving my mid-to-long iron ball striking and getting a better path with my driver to hit more fairways more distance. 2 weeks in to lessons I went out to the course and shot a 74 when I had been struggling to break 85 previously. Investing in lessons with Logan has returned my passion for the game and I am back to looking forward to getting back out on the course every weekend and playing my best golf! read more

Boy was I impressed with Dylan!! If you want the basics, he can go there. If you want to go deep into biomechanics, kenesio study of your movement, he can go there too. Remember, everyone is built different - body types, flexibility, athletic experience, pre-existing muscle memory. No, you won't be swinging like Tiger or Rory. Writing this review after two golf lessons with my instructor, Logan. The start of the first lesson he had me swing away until I was nice and loose and hit a few decent shots. We played back the film and he began breaking down some of the 'right off the bat' faults he saw in my swing. We compared my swing side by side with some golf pros on the monitor and it made it easier for myself to understand the faults he was explaining. Then we got to work on one improvement at a time the rest of that lesson and the next. Logan is a great dude and I had a great time during his instruction. In particular, I would highly recommend working with Logan Hofer if you want to improve your swing and also enjoy the sport of golf! Logan is a gifted and patient teacher, and is creative (have you ever used a stick through your belt loops to control the timing your lower body movement?), resourceful (e.g., putting a pen in your glove to manage your wrist movement), and methodical (introducing one isolated movement at a time so as not to overwhelm the learning process) in his teaching. He blends theory, simulation, and logic in a way that makes the lessons easily digestible. The studio in general has also been great about scheduling/re-scheduling, offering packaged deals, and ensuring a smooth transition when I had to change instructors mid-way.
