I brought it there for two separate issues and had problems both times. After the second time of multiple visits for the same issue and just problem after problem I vowed to find an alternative. The next time my cart needed service someone recommended Golf Carts Unlimited so I gave them a shot. It is rare to experience the level of professionalism, customer service, courtesy, and know-how that Doug and his team exhibit. Bait and switch on financing + LSV Speed misleading…read more Bought a Club Car Onward LSV in June 2026. Staff was friendly during sale and helped tag it. I put $5,000 down on the $12,000 cart. Problems: Speed: Sold as LSV 20-25 mph capable. It only does 19 mph. Financing: Quoted $212/mo @ 5.99%. Contract came back with different payment and rate. Emailed owner Jimmy -- no response. The payment difference isn't huge, and I would've accepted it upfront. Issue is being told one thing and sold another. Tip for other buyers, that I should have done myself. Get everything in writing before you leave. 1 star for friendly staff and helping with tags. Losing 4 stars for misrepresentation and no follow-up. I gave GAV 5 business days to respond to my direct email. before posting this review.

What a phenomenal experience with East Coast Custom Golf Carts! In this day and age of online…read moresites that are cheaper than a traditional shop, I'm so glad I didn't go that route this time. Any business can perform great when everything is perfect. However, when's the last time a larger online business called you immediately when they noticed an issue? Well, that's what Denise did as soon as she seen that one of my parts ordered was discontinued - this was my fault as it was listed as discontinued on their website. They didn't just send an email or text, they picked up the phone, called, apologized and asked if there was anything they could do to supplement the discontinued item. Then when I received my remaining items in the order and there was a small issue, I emailed them - after business hours - and first thing the next morning I didn't get an emailed response I got a direct call from the owner with not just an apology, but an immediate solution to the issue. So go ahead and save $5 bucks on that next order. Then spend the next 3 hrs. of your life either on hold or endless emails only to not get a positive solution to your issue. Stay away from this company! These guys are the absolute worst! Their customer service is…read moreatrocious, they price gouge and they call themselves experts but unfortunately they aren't very good mechanics. I took my cart in for a service due to a speed issue. After spending over $1,000 for a diagnostic, batteries, pick up and delivery etc, etc, they returned the cart with the same issue I brought it in for. When I called them back to find out why my cart was returned with the same problem he began to insult me then tells me "oh it must be something else." Tuns out, from another mechanic who looked at it, I only needed a $60 part. Any experienced mechanic always starts with the least expensive repair first. Instead he replaces the most expensive thing on a golf cart! Without going into all the boring details (unless you want me to) I would not recommend using these guys. I recently found a new mechanic who is honest, won't sell you stuff you don't need and goes the extra mile. If you need his number feel free to dm me. There are far better options out there for golf cart mechanics in this town! Stay away!
