I'm bummed out that I didn't get a swag bag this year apparently it's all gone pretty quickly as soon as the store closed. But looking at the other gals who got it seems like it's a Nike golf cap like last year (they gave out Puma last year) and some snacks and small items. However, they did serve refreshments this year, which I didn't get at their Markham location last year. I don't know if I'll be back... perhaps if I'm free and I can find another golf buddy besides my husband to join me (I got no female golf playing friends). Anywho people were nice we got to putt for a raffle and compete for the closest to the pin challenge at 111 yards. I didn't win anything but it's nice to see many women there and they weren't super competitive either. Normally in a golf setting, I see mostly men and they all seem to play quite well. It's a nice change to see a golf event with all women. Some discounts during that event too though nothing super cheap deal. I wasn't particularly in the market for something and I'm just here for the vibes and hopefully score a prize. There are three simulators here so on a normal day you can use it to try out their golf clubs there before purchasing. There also a StudioX centre here if you're really fancy with your club set with custom fittings.

I came in here to browse the Miik line since I heard about it from the green living website. I was…read moredisappointed though to see how casual the clothing looked, especially the cardigans which I was interested in. $180 for a paper thin cardigan with stitching similar to the kind on yoga pants? Methinks not. Basically it's overpriced travel / sports clothing. They had some nice rain coats from North Face however. Might be worth a look in the winter time when they have the winter coats out. We shall see!

The staff overall are friendly and welcoming. I came here for one thing specifically... and ONLY because everywhere else I called around town weren't willing to, or couldn't, order it in for me but they seem to have a nice (yet limited) supply of mostly higher end gear and clothing. I doubt very much that I would shop here again as there are other places which have a far greater selection for lower prices. One thing I was certainly disappointed with was that they didn't honour the '10% off your purchase' check-in offer. The owner claimed to know nothing about it... I'm not quite sure how that would happen.

Our order arrived on schedule, with no mistakes and the printing looked extremely clean and professional. We placed a large (65+ custom pieces), complicated order that involved an assortment of fully sublimated jerseys, classic jerseys, bro tanks, reversible tanks and shorts. Michelle Ng, the sales rep we worked with, was incredibly helpful, communicative and responsive. We also worked with their in-house professional artist to finalize our design for a reasonable fee and were given the final electronic art files to keep. In the past we have ordered from Five Ultimate as well as Patagonia (using EFX Design & Marketing, Inc. for printing). From my experience, VC Ultimate is the best in terms of service, jersey material and printing quality.

I'm currently in the middle of my second (fairly straight-forward order with them). I'm not knowledgeable about prices as this is the only place I've ordered from but they seem fair. They let you take samples to show your team if you want (and in as many sizes as you like). I'm giving them a five based on my experience and the price caveat above. www.vcultimate.com

Arc'teryx Beta AR -- Fails Durability Expectations…read more I expected the Arc'teryx Beta AR to last, especially at this price. Instead, all my jackets developed zipper delamination and seam‑tape failure, despite minimal use and proper storage. There is no wear anywhere else, which makes it obvious the failure is in the materials and construction, not the user. Arc'teryx Warranty dismissed the issue and offered only 20% of the original price if I surrendered the jackets. They refused proper repairs, even if I paid. This does not meet the standard of reasonable durability that consumers expect -- especially from a brand that markets itself as the best in the industry. I'll be posting this experience on consumer platforms so others can make informed decisions. Premium pricing should come with premium durability and a responsible warranty -- Arc'teryx failed on both.

They said "NO SORRY WE ARE TOO BUSY". I even asked if he was joking, he said "NO SORRY, WE ARE UNDERSTAFFED AND REALLY BUSY". I have never in my life been turned away like this. I was willing to pay their overinflated prices because as we all know there are not a lot of ski and snowboard stores left in the city and the fit of goggles is important especially with your helmet. I actually got turned away. Needless to say, not sure my son will be getting goggles for Christmas anymore. Anyway, I am a wakeboarder, a kiteboarder, a snowboarder and I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Nor will I recommend your store to anyone. It's too bad because I have shopped at Boardsports since I was a teenager. You just lost a customer of 30+ years. (Boardsports is now a part of Northline).
