Goldwater Lodge is a community facility for Goldsworth Park and the address of the Goldsworth Park Community Association.
The lodge comprises two rooms together with a bar, kitchen and toilet facilities that can be hired by the public for clubs, functions and the like.
The main hall has recently had new heating installed and sports a bar at one end which is licenced and can be opened by arrangement (and fee).
The snug is a smaller room with fixed soft furnishings. This room can be hired with the main hall or on its own for smaller meetings.
Toilet facilities are clean but dated. They are typical village hall facilities which do the job but no more.
Similarly, the kitchen is a basic affair. Large enough to make tea and coffees or to lay out a basic buffet but you're not going to be cooking here.
Hire rates are fairly cheap and, if you're a member of the community association (which is automatic if you live on the park) then you'll get reduced rates.
It's an ideal venue for low key birthday celebration or even a budget wedding reception.
