Was told that the product just arrived at the warehouse and would be shipped out that day. Strike 2 -- dont show an item as in stock if you didn't already have it in stock. Two days later, still no email or tracking info, so I have to call again. Strike 3. This time was told by a different guy that my order was refunded because it was out of stock. But I check online and the product is showing as in stock still with a price 2x what I paid (now in line with the rest of the online sphere's pricing) -- idk how many strikes to count for these events but it would be several. Why am I being lied to? Why have I had to reach out every time instead of proactive communication from the retailer? Why was my purchase price not honored like any good retailer would? On top of that, the guy I spoke to the second time offered to have the guy from call #1 contact me as he was the one running point on all this of this and of course I never received a call. Bunch of lying cowards at the fulfillment department of this company. Everything you dont want in a customer experience. Would never spend a dime supporting a business like this.

Where do we begin…read more.. We could not have asked for anything more on our special day! We are from Australia and were planning a wedding in NYC which is not an easy thing to do from the other side of the world. Rebell entertainment made the whole process and experience easy, drama free and FUN! It didn't matter what time of the day it was Damion would respond almost immediately even tho we are in complete different time zones. He went above and beyond even to the extent of helping out our other musicians on the night and doing so much more to help out with the whole night that not just any standard DJ would do. He really listened to us with the type of music we wanted at our wedding and played every specific song we had requested on our list. Our guests had the time of their lives on the dance floor and are still going on about how much fun it was. Damion even came the the venue early in the day, to set up equipment for us to use during the ceremony/before the reception as our venue was a blank canvas and therefore didn't come with any equipment. He even brought his own camera and took photos and video clips where he then put a short professional video together of our wedding and sent it to us one day after the wedding. We absolutely LOVED this. It always takes so long to get the photos and footage from the photographers and it was so nice to have something like that to watch straight after the wedding. I was somewhat dumbfounded when the guy who spoke to me was belligerent almost from the get go (turns out, unbelievably, he was one of the owners of the place, his name was Thibault.) Asking normal professional questions - I was either cut off or spoken over, the guy telling me multiple times that he "didn't need to explain how he did business". Umm, not the best way to address a potential client. These are all very bad signs and despite all the other reviews here I would steer very clear. I wanted to write this as a warning for others. A rental house that is not professional will bite you in the behind in the long run. AVOID.

When I was shopping around to look for a 5D Mark II to rent back in September, I couldn't believe…read moreat how much some outfits were charging for a 4 year old camera body. I went and checked out all the usual big names (Adorama, CSI, foto care), but I felt as though I should be able to get more for my money. That, combined with the motivation from having a tight production budget (understatement of the century) lead me to stumbling upon Lighthouse. I will admit that I was initially skeptical about getting a 5D (from a shop I've never heard of) with a 32GB CF card when other companies were charging the same, or much more, for only a 8GB card. But in the end, I had no choice. All the other outfits had either rented out the 5D already, or the cost was too hard to justify. So I went ahead and set up an account with them, and came in the next day to pick up the 5D along with a shotgun mic, tripod, light, and light stand. I could not have been happier with the customer service. Thibaut was very patient with me as I threw a ton of questions at him on how to maximize the production quality on such a small budget. I think I actually like that Lighthouse is still relatively unknown amongst the other camera rental shops since I would have never been able to get a 5D on such short notice otherwise. But all good things come to an end I suppose. If you're reading this, then you're most likely debating to rent from them or not, but with their competitive prices and their healthy supply of equipment, how could you not?** ** Unless, of course, you're a Nikon fanboy like I am :). Unfortunately, this is purely a Canon shop as far as DSLRs go.
