Dr. Goldman doesn't have much of a bedside manner and his office looks pretty dated, but he did seem knowledgeable and competent so I didn't really care about that. He took the time to listen to me, was very direct in his responses and I really appreciated that. He's a good Dr. to see if you don't expect warm and fuzzy.
The 2 star rating is for his office staff. The nurses (I think/hope they were nurses..) seemed inexperienced and possibly inadequately trained. They had a lot of trouble drawing blood and finally managed it after 3 sticks. Save yourself some pokes and request that Angel does this for you, because she's the only one who seemed to remember basic nursing skills.
Make sure you take care of your Co-pay at the time of visit because there is a pretty big chance that the office staff won't ask you for it and they'll charge you $10 if they have to send a bill. I didn't even think about the Co-pay at the time and called later to pay it. They were nice enough not to charge me the additional $10, but the accountant in the billing office was a total wang about the situation and tried to berate/lecture me during the entire phone call about how I should've paid the bill in office at time of service. He was unnecessarily combative and disrespectful during the entire call..it was almost like he didn't want me to give them money. Maybe he was already just having a bad day, but his behavior was pretty unprofessional. I won't be back to see this Dr. read more
