Had a really bad experience here with doctor Micali Iliana, I came in to get specific refferals for other issues for things I needed but instead got argued about my chronic condition for 20 minutes even though it is on my chart that I had Hypermobile Ehlers danlos syndrome that was diagnosed almost a year ago from a specialist that is an expertise in Olympia ( reference is dr. steven doucet who diagnosed me). She kept telling me that this condition doesnt cause widespread pain and almost was minimizing it like it wasn't a thing at all even though I was explaining it to her she seemed reluctant to even listen to me or believe me. I had to pull it up myself on my mychart that she could access and pull this information up herself, its like she didnt even look at it. Poor quality of care if you have a chronic condition dont go to her. You will be misunderstood entirely and go through something you didnt even need to in the first place. Then she also wanted to put a bunch of labs and test i didnt even ask for or was concerned about. I dont know if its because she only knows about diabetes and hypertension but she was trying to test and diagnose me for those and I never brought that up as a concern or something I even needed to be tested for. I told her I go to the gym regularly and I have been tested prior like last year and everything was negative to that. Felt like my actual problems i needed fixed were dismissed entirely. And keep in mind I came in for a refferal for a physical therapist for my back and a neurologist cause my family think I have been having seizures lately. None of that should have prompted that it was super strange. It's like coming in for issues im having with my back and brain and being told those aren't important/ probably the issue it has to be diabetes or cholesterol. Even though I went over my history and what was going on. Super frustrating will not be going back. I hope she tries to listen to patient concerns instead of ignoring and just trying to make a quick buck on test people dont even need. This was my first visit keep in mind. I have never met a doctor who was this disrespectful, condescending, incompetent, presumptuous and insulting. I needed to see the doctor for labs and treatment for my mental health. I was very clear to the person who made the appointment about what exactly I needed and double checked that they understood that. The day of my appointment, I was told me that the doctor is with another patient, and it might take a little bit longer before she sees me. While waiting, the nurses did routine checks, had me fill out a form on my mental health, which I provided details on and got me started on labs. Later, Dr. Micali came in, talked about my labs and asked basic questions. I mentioned about my treatment for mental health, and she said that she had no knowledge of that being part of my appointment. She already "wasted time" discussing my labs with me and ordering tests for a physical, which she suggested. Dr. Micali said, "You'll have to make another appointment with me in the next TWO weeks to discuss treatment for your mental health." Mind you, she was only with me for barely 10 minutes. She arrogantly mentioned how she was with another patient before me who was going through a lot and I was "young and healthy" and there wasn't time since there were other patients to see. I couldn't understand why she wanted me to make another appointment in two weeks to discuss the matter which was supposed to happen now. She responded and I quote, "You should have said something about it the moment I came in." She never once asked me why I needed treatment for mental health but instead presumptuously made comments that my depression may be caused by lack of sleep or my diet. Dr. Micali has no bedside manners or respect for patient care and was dismissive of my mental health needs because I appeared as "young and healthy" and compared me to another patient. I could understand if someone made a mistake and if there was a communication issue, HOWEVER, the way she treated me was completely confrontational, defensive, and insulting. She kept saying how she had no idea about my depression/mental health needs, which I find very odd because of the form I filled out at the beginning, which explained all of that. I don't understand how someone could say they did not know yet had the information that they should have reviewed before meeting with me. Unless she didn't and completely ignored reviewing that material or thought it wasn't important enough to bring up in discussion. Please do not meet with this "doctor" who has no regard for mental health and takes no responsibility but blames others or make them feel small. The way she treated me could've been triggering to other people dealing with mental health/depression. She should not be a doctor if all she does is make assumptions of people based on their appearance and dismiss their needs without consideration or kindness. read more

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Micali. First of all, I had to wait about a month for an appointment with her. As the appointment was approaching, I received a call that it would need to be rescheduled as she would not be available on that date - and I would have to wait ANOTHER month for an available time slot. When the appointment time came, as many others have said, she was 45 minutes late to the appointment, with no explanation or apology. Then she had issues logging into the new medical records system, so was using someone else's login (?). However, this other person was an RN I believe, so therefore Dr. Micali was not able to access important parts of my chart. At one point an administrator knocked on the door to help her with her tech issues, and she said "Come in" - which I find very unprofessional as I was a patient in the middle of an appointment. Nothing was resolved. The main reason for seeing her was for advice on discontinuing a medication for anxiety. I had said that I had been on it for awhile, and that I thought it made sense to discontinue because I wasn't sure what benefit I was getting. She didn't engage in any type of counseling about this choice, she just said, "Okay, you're feeling well." Just reducing the situation to one sentence. I had also gotten some labs done last year, and there was an indication that one had to be redone because the levels were concerning. I asked a question or two about what that could mean or why I hadn't heard any follow-up from my previous doctor (who works at the same health clinic). First, Dr. Micali said, "Well, I would have been able to see that but I didn't have access." (And that's my problem, how??) She said she was going to prescribe me to get the labs done again, and I asked about the cost with insurance - she said, "I prescribe it and they will pay for it." Umm, no. That's not how insurance works. When I said that my insurance required a deductible to be met and that I was on the line for any costs until that point, she said, "Well, it probably won't be too expensive." So ridiculously out of touch. I said that I needed to think about it due to finances, and she said, "Well, I'm the doctor and I'm recommending it." Unbelievable. She had ZERO bedside manner. What a disrespectful, aloof, inconsiderate excuse for a healthcare professional. I will never be seeing her again, and I hope this review encourages you to look elsewhere for your medical care! read more

Dr. Micali is horrible. She is rude, hostile and does not respond to your needs as a patient. She tells YOU what is going to happen and then she does it. Possibly the rudest and worst care provider I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I'm serious. I think she could be the very worst in my 50 plus years as a patient. I would give a lower rating if possible. I only checked her ratings AFTER I met with her. If you know what to look for you can see when someone has padded their reviews with a bunch of glowing falsified positive reviews. If you go through her positive reviews you can see that several of them are submitted under unique names, but are almost assuredly written by the same person. Sadly, when you are seeking a review, you really are concerned with the negatives, largely because of the false positive reviews factor. On the other hand, if a person were satisfied or even neutral on the care they received, why in the world would they take the time to enter a false bad review? She sucks. Stay away. read more

Dr. Iliana Micali s seriously one of the best, most compassionate, caring doctors Ever! We love her to death! This weekend when I needed her she was there for me and today with everything go so bad I went into see her as she got me in after closing and spent an hour figuring out what was going on so she could Prescribe the right meds! Karma is everything and Dr. Micali has some awesome Karma flying back her way sometime soon! I'm already feeling better and hopefully by morning I'll be doing a lot better and can make it into work! Usually I call and make a same day or next day appointment but today when I explained how horrible I was feeling her staff's response was come right over we will do what it takes to make our schedule work and get you take care of! I'd give it a negative star. All my referrals have been to sub bar doctors who don't take anything seriously. I've had stomach issues for the past two years and have been to many endocrinologists all referred by Dr. Micali. Each of them were rude and never took what I said seriously I would bring my boyfriend to the appointments with me because I physically felt uncomfortable with them. Her herself is very rude I've asked her never to talk to me about birth control and each time I go in she talks to me about birth control and then scold me for not doing it she's very rude and short tempered and her front office manager is completely on organized rude I've made appointments in he will say 1230 I will be getting off the phone and he will say I will see you at 10:30 changing times constantly and dates. read more

Dr. Micali should be ashamed of herself. She was and is horrific. I was referred to her for my Graves Disease and high blood pressure. At the first appointment, she left me waiting 40 minutes before she even arrived - and then with no explanation or apology. She fed me all sorts of false information, such as "The only thing hypothyroidism causes is tiredness" (!!!!!) and after three horrible office visits with her, and four long months, I called her office to request a referral to a specialist to help with my hypertension. I called daily for almost 5 weeks. DAILY. For 5 weeks. Never once did she return my call, never once did she respond to my request, and never once did I receive the required referral for the specialist. This doctor provides no patient care, and truly is the worst excuse for a professional I have ever seen. I plan to write to the State Medical Board to file a formal complaint. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Micali. I have had two appointments with her and both times she took the time to get to know me and made recommendations based on my specific needs. This is the worse doctor I've ever seen. She's judgemental and pushes her beliefs on you and makes you feel small. On my first appointment she walked in the room and looked at me and told me I should have bariactric surgery to loose weight. I told her no I don't want to do that. She then asked me "do you want to stay like this?" Not nice. Her receptionist is rude and abrasive. And it's her brother. If you have any questions, they won't answer you over the phone. They make you come in and pay for an office visit for just a simple question. I got to my appointment early and she made me wait an hour and a half. They are so unprofessional and money hungry. She obviously hasn't changed over the years. She shouldn't be a doctor. Don't even waste your time and money on her. read more
