This little shop is absolutely adorable and full of charm. Most of their products are locally sourced, and you can feel the care that goes into the selection. The cheese and condiment options were phenomenal, truly one of the best curated selections I've seen in the area. They also have a cute wine bar tucked in the back, which adds to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The sandwiches and deli items in the case looked so good that I'm already planning to come back for lunch next time I'm in town. Everything looked fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully put together. The staff was friendly, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. A wonderful little spot with great people and even better cheese, I'll definitely be back to enjoy "good company" in every sense of the name!

We ordered 2 craft cocktails off their well rounded cocktail menu. I love floral cocktails so I ordered a Rose Negroni $12 and my husband ordered a bourbon cocktail Lindsey's Lament $13. We loved them! For lunch we ordered pimento dip with crackers a SALUMI SANDWICH $14 fennel salami, Fra'Mani mortadella and capicollo. provolone, Mama Lil's peppers, & basil pesto on sourdough bread and a BRIE, HAM, 8 JAM SANDWICH $14 with double crème Brie, Oregon apricot jam, and Fra'Mani sweet apple ham on sour dough bread. Both sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Since we were the only customers on this quiet afternoon, we sat for a while enjoying our cocktails and sandwiches planning our next visit.

All of the cheeses to sample was delightful. I may have taken my kids share as seconds. I got the quesadillas. I don't think it's an accurate description. Maybe slightly like a quesataco but more than a taco. Great way to showcase the cheese though. I chose kind of haphazardly because I definitely liked one more than the other but couldn't distinguish later. This is probably the best pastor I've had so far. I know of some that are no longer with us but this was close. Ice cream was amazing too. Lochmead is a high quality product and they sell it for a very reasonable price. The wife got the chile relleno. Great ingredient to feature the cheese. Would definitely get again. Without a doubt my new favorite cheese factory

There were self serve samples the moment you walk in and the cashier if it's not as busy guides you through the cheeses. At the end of the building you can see the cheese being made. Overall an epic experience. It's pretty quiet for the most part, but can get loud. I really enjoyed the food and the experience.

Briar Rose Creamy, which specializes in cows milk cheese, offers an open window for sample tasting, which is accessible after driving down a gravel road in Dundee. Their cheese is served on cheese & charcuterie boards at nearby Dundee Hills & Willamette Valley wineries. We were offered samples by the cheese maker's husband, who shared the story of their business, her journey from her early days at Cowgirl Creamy in Marin, to starting her own company, & advised us on their offerings. While tasting, we could see straight back into the cheese making facility, with people busy at work. It just doesn't get any closer to the source than that. We enjoyed each Briar Rose cheese we tried, but particularly the Butterbaby, a soft bloomy rind Guernsey cow's milk cheese, and their sweet, tangy, spreadable formage blanc. I wish they had been tasting their semi-soft cheese washed in Riesling and wrapped in Spruce bark, called Strapping Evelyn, but it wasn't available to sample the day we stopped by. We picked up several cheeses to take home. A must for anyone who likes an authentic farm stand experience.
