I'm afraid I entirely have to disagree with Janice. As a matter of fact, it sounds like a former employee who had issues with Mike. Just look at the date that Janice's account was open and the date of the bad review. My personal experience with Goldfish and especially with Mike has been nothing but amazing. I say that based on my personal reality, as a mother of 2. I have been taking my son to Goldsfich since he was close to being 4 months old and he's 5 and half years old now, I also take my daughter there too. I don't have a single complaint about him or any other staff from neither Burlington (where we used to go until they opened Danvers) and the Danvers location. Mike has been there since the beginning and has helped us (especially my son) overcome the difficulties we have faced along the way, and there were many of them. For instance, once my son moved from mini 2 (swimming with me) to mini 3 (swimming alone) and had a really hard time adjusting to it, Mike would see that and jump in the pool with him, on a separate lane, and just held and talked to him calming him down. I witness him doing that with other kids and another staff has done the same too. The way Mike treats his staff is the same way his staff treats the clients. I also can highly talk about Henry, another manager in Danvers, who is caring and so much helpful. I really can't speak enough good things about Goldfish Burlington and Danvers and Mike and his staff. It has been an amazing journey. read more

If I could give Goldfish Swim School more than 5 stars, I would. Our family has been part of Goldfish for over five years. My oldest son started in Mini 1 when he was just 11 months old and recently graduated as a Pro 2 shortly before turning 6. Watching his growth--from a baby getting comfortable in the water to becoming a strong, confident swimmer--has been incredible. My younger son is now in Glider 2 after starting lessons as a baby too and he absolutely loves coming every week. The instructors have always been patient, encouraging, and so positive. They do an amazing job making swim lessons fun while teaching important water safety and swimming skills. Every milestone has been celebrated, and every challenge has been met with encouragement. One of the things we've appreciated most is the consistency. The curriculum builds confidence step by step, and we've seen firsthand how much that approach works. Our boys aren't just learning how to swim--they genuinely love being in the water. We're so grateful for everything Goldfish Swim School has done for our family. The confidence, skills, and memories they've given our boys are something we'll always be thankful for. We enrolled our daughter in swim lessons at just 4 months old, and choosing Goldfish Swim School has truly been one of the best decisions we've made. The instructors are absolutely incredible--caring, patient, and highly skilled. Our daughter is now 8 months old, and swim class has become the highlight of our week! We really appreciate the structured curriculum and the strong emphasis on water safety from such an early age. When we joined the Goldfish Swim School, we joined a family. We have been at the school now for 3 years and our girls love it. Both have come such a long way with their swimming and it's all due to our favorite teachers Mol and Maddie. The teachers at the swim school are very knowledgeable and patient! When you walk into the swim school, you're immediately greeted with smiles and warmth. Everyone that we've talked to at the front desk is always very helpful when it comes to our questions. We love love love this location! We moved and switched to another location, then moved again and are making the longer commute to stay here because our three girls love it here. When our youngest was in between classes age wise, Mike (the manager) found a way to start a new class so she could continue to grow in her swimming skills. The instructors are all really attentive and teach to the students skills/weaknesses. We are delighted to have two fully safe swimmers at 3 and 5, and an almost safe by herself 21 month old, all because of mike and his staff taking an interest in our family and our children! read more

Okay am that mom that is hard to satisfy but Goldfish Danvers is amazing under the leadership of Terri omgoodness she is wonderful.my son is special and his instructors Ronaldo $ Lilly are a breath of awesomeness extra nice and caring. I also checked them out with other kids and they were same way so not just mine. Special needs mom here is a 30 minutes place you can be assured your LO is cared for. Goldfish has consistently surpassed my expectations in every way. Not only are the staff friendly from the moment you walk thru the door, they really know kids and especially how to help kids who are having trouble. We are so happy to say we now have three swimmers this year! The weekly lessons with encouraging and patient coaches following a set curriculum were key in our success. Being able to reinforce skills during Family Swim really propelled our kids forward.
