Food is always great here, my go to is the General Tso. The owners are really friendly, haven't been disappointed with anything yet. Wish they'd bring back the fried fish. read more

Very delicious and good lunch specials. Take out only. Owners remember return customers!

They have the best fried chicken wings!! Customer service is amazing. I had already ordered but the way they treated me made me order more.

Don't dwell on the facade of this restaurant. The food is delicious! We ordered the spring rolls, which were perfectly fried, the black pepper chicken which had the most delicious sauce and veggies and the egg drop soup, which truthfully was missing something but still satisfying. I would recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to visiting again soon! read more

This is my second visit.. I ordered mixed vegetables.. vegetable lo me and spring rolls.. everything was good except for the spring rolls.. not as crispy as I would prefer. I really think their deep fryer may be out of order. The texture reminded me of baked spring rolls.. very unexpected. Definitely healthier, but if I'm eating carbs I might as well go for the deep fried rolls. The restaurant is tucked away in Westridge Shopping Center on Sunset Ave. Not a lot traffic going in and out probably due to COVID-19. The owners are practicing social distancing at the counter and also providing hand sanitizer. There's no indoor seating but just one table and chairs for outdoor use if needed in front of the restaurant. I'll continue to patronize this business while I'm temporarily in the area.. read more

Golden Wok - Plastic shield at ordering station.. - Chinese Near Me - Rocky Mount, North Carolina

Good but not great. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone but a bit generic. No real atmosphere. Better to get take out.

Very much enjoyed their egg foo young. Gravy was very good. The Rice was also a highlight

Have been going to this restaurant for years! At this point, we have a relationship with their family and we have watched their children grow up. They are actually from China, so the food is authentic! In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in Rocky Mount. I also really love the Thai dishes that they offer. Definitely worth trying! read more

Americanized Chinese food, but can still find some dishes with authentic style. Located between Pitstop and Subway, don't be lost, GPS will only guide you to the central of parking lot. read more

The food is your average Chinese food but they get four stars because they will customize a dish to your liking. I'm vegan and they will leave out whatever items you request for your dietary needs which is awesome when you are visiting a small town like Rocky Mount. read more

Not bad for your plain old Chinese takeout. There are very few places in town that delivers and they do (only to the hospital or hotels in that area). Very disappointing as I live closer but in the opposite direction and won't deliver to me! So much for my business. read more

Very good Chinese food. Have been going for years before I moved away. When I visit I make sure I go and get my favorites. The ingredients are fresh. read more

Ordered chow mein, taste like my hometown and it's so good. We just dropped by from the road trip and glad to have some Chinese food

Though this restaurant got good reviews, if you're looking for a Chinese restaurant that delivers this is probably not the best option. Their cook is also their delivery person so it's hit or miss... read more

Take out. Worst Pad Thai I've ever had. Absolutely no flavor. Just tasted like slimy noodles. ThereMIGHT have been chicken in it but it was unrecognizable as such. No spouts but what looked like wilted slimy lettuce or cabbage. Tastes like where noodles go to die. $11 wasted. Now need to go find something else for lunch. read more

Just went after staying in the area for the night and was disappointed by the tasteless, sesame-less sesame chicken and blank fried rice. The chicken wings I ordered were only half of the usual wing of the chicken they give at better Chinese food places. I don't do yelps often but between the food and the lack of friendly service I had to warn my fellow man.. read more

Below average Chinese food. The garlic sauce is awful. They have no idea how to make it. They're not the most friendly and they upcharge you for everything. Plus their prices are higher than any other Chinese food place in the area. Dumplings are decent, but that was about all I cared for. I will not be eating here in the future. read more

Best Chinese take out in Rocky Mount. Egg rolls are awesome, we buy like 8 egg rolls at a time. We get carry out from there on a regular basis. Never dissatisfied. read more

I ordered shrimp and broccoli. I get home and start to eat it and there's only three shrimp in the whole container. I called in to politely let them know and the woman lied and said they were busy(which they weren't) then hung up and in my ear while I was talking. They have very poor customer service and this establishment doesn't look entirely clean. Also when I was in there they had a lot of flies in the back where they cook. I only came here because it's literally right by my home but I definitely won't be eating here again. read more

Their sesame chicken is the sesame chicken that started my obsession... years ago, when the PNC across the street was RBC and RBC was my client, the ladies at the bank decided to grab Chinese for lunch. I didn't know what was good, and they suggested sesame chicken. Shrug, OK... every day that I had to go back to the bank was a GOOD DAY because I was sure to not pack my own lunch. Then I tried to find sesame chicken in Raleigh that was as good. Five years later and I still haven't found it. Last weekend I timed my trip home from the beach so that I could get some sesame chicken at Golden Wok and.. yeah, it was still that good. read more

Made a stop for the night on our way to obx decided we wanted Chinese. This place was really good! We got the Singapore mei fun which was not only a huge portion but yummy! read more

Rudest people on the phone when you are trying to order. Asking about having sauce on the side and flat out telling you no, knowing its available and was willing to pay the extra for it. Food is subpar at best. If you want to be trying to order and like hearing the word wait or no, this is the place for you. read more

Very good food with quick and friendly. What a great value! Food is prepared to order so food is hot...and good. Wonton soup is awesome.
