Once seated, food was out pretty quick. I really liked that each table gets a carafe of ice water, chips, refried beans sprinkled with cheese and some salsa. We ordered birria empanadas, chicken mole, El Jefe burrito with carne asada and birria. We ordered a traditional michelada and beer. The options for salsas is one several reasons I like it here. Between the mole, grilled jalapeño and house salsas the heat was ON!! You get a choice of flour or corn tortillas, I ordered corn and they were home made, what a treat! The venue itself is unique. Indoor seating is spacious and plenty but it's freezing so bring a sweater. There is an awesome patio with lots of seating if you bring kiddos. Our server was Lily she was overwhelmed but very sweet and checked on her tables often. The server/bus-boy, didn't catch his name was very efficient and cleared tables, sat patrons, and delivered the water, chips, beans and salsa which was nice to see. Prices are also great. Make sure you try the birria ramen! That's the dish that hooked me. I'm giving this place a three star only because there was somewhat of a wait to be seated. But would definitely recommend. This small, mom-and-pop-style restaurant was packed with customers even at 2 PM on a Friday, which says a lot. A local friend told us it's always busy, no matter the time of day, and it's open until midnight, making it a reliable late-night food spot as well. What We Ordered: * Beef Soup: This was my personal highlight. The beef was exceptionally tender, reminiscent of Korean galbitang (beef soup), though the ingredients and broth had a distinctly different, Mexican flair. The broth leaned oily, but the flavor was rich and comforting. Next time, I'd like to try it with regular beef instead of tendon. For my personal taste it was still pretty greasy. * Beef & Cheese Quesadilla: Massive in size and definitely enough to share. Yes, it was oily--but that added to the indulgent, local flavor. For my personal taste it was still pretty greasy. * Chili Verde Pork: Flavorful and juicy with just the right amount of kick. Still pretty greasy. * Nachos with Cheese & Beef: Not bad, but a bit dry compared to the other dishes. Might benefit from extra sauce or salsa. Pickle & Sauce Bar: A huge bonus! There were four house-made salsas, pickled red onions with a spicy kick, radishes, and cucumber slices--all perfect accompaniments to balance out the heavier dishes. ‍‍‍ Ambience & Service: The atmosphere was family-friendly with a classic, cozy Mexican restaurant vibe. The staff were friendly and efficient, even though the place was packed. Seating is limited, so be prepared to wait during peak hours--but it's worth it. Pricing: While prices have increased a bit (dishes ranging from $15-19), the portion sizes are generous--many plates could easily be split between two people. Considering the quality and authenticity, it still feels like a great value. Final Thoughts: Most of the patrons appeared to be from Central or South American backgrounds, which added even more credibility to the authenticity of the food. I would absolutely return next time I'm in Kennewick. If you're craving hearty, flavorful, and truly authentic Mexican cuisine, this is a must-visit.

This…read morelittle gem is off of Road 68 and completes the Latin triumvirate of Viera's Bakery, Rallito De Luna DOS Tortilla Factory, and a taco truck. You can't go wrong with a visit here. First time I went here I had some ceviche & chilled at their table. I even got caught up on my novelas (Yes, they had a flat screen pimped on their truck for all your TV needs---only in Pasco!). The ceviche was nice (it did make the area smell a bit fishy). On a second visit with friends, we all ordered a grip of tacos. I went with the lengua (tongue) and carne asada (beef). They were muy bueno. However this time there was no TV---what up??? ;) This is a new truck to add to my taco truck list (http://www.yelp.com/list/taco-trucks-richland-2), and it is now one of the closest Pasco Taco Trucks to my home in Richland.
