I'm in the chair at the time I reserved and my appointment is completed as expeditiously as possible. Furthermore, he begins each appointment with a conversation with me about what I want. I am a​ repeat client and he asks me what I want every single time I sit in the chair. If I am trying something different he goes over the complete plan before he switches the clippers on. He takes suggestions and offers his professional opinion about styles. And I have yet to even speak about his skills as a barber. He is attuned with his instruments and continually works to be on the cutting edge of his craft and trade. Now, concerning Exposed Barbershop. The location is well-kept and well-lit. These are all important ways to secure happy and repeat customers. The shop atmosphere is not too loud, and whenever children and women are present, I do sense that there is a sincere effort to keep the ​conversations and ambient music respectable.

Might as well just do walk ins at that point. And that's fine, everyone runs behind (an apology would have been nice rather than thanking me for my patience!). But the main reason I'm writing a negative review is after finally getting seated, I find the chair and counter station is full of hair and dirty from the previous client. The stylist isn't prepared and disappeared again to grab the steam machine! So not only did they rob me of my time but after patiently waiting, they robbed my experience.
