I really wanted to love this place and was hoping to find my go-to place for my puppy having just come back from living abroad, but unfortunately, Mehran, the owner left me with a traumatized, injured puppy. To be clear, before writing this review I emailed him directly as I wanted to give him the benefit of doubt, and make it clear to him that if he and his team do not practice care when clipping dogs' nails there will be many unhappy pet parents and they'll find another place that won't injure their dog considering he charges well over $80 for minimal services.
I wasn't expecting anything in return other than an apology and some reassurance he'd be more careful and bring this matter to his team's attention. Instead, I was accused of lying because the blood wasn't visible on my puppy when I first picked him up (NOTE: the over-clipped nail was on his hind leg and I carried him out of the salon with the exception of putting him on the ground to see if he'd pee before we got in the car, which was brief because he didn't need to eliminate). He said he "had surveillance of me walking my puppy" (complete BS) and I welcomed him to share it with me and reminded him that I asked him whether he clipped my dogs nails, he said yes, and I trusted everything was fine -- I didn't inspect further until I got home and noticed the gushing blood. I have yet to receive any footage to support his claim (not surprised) and, what made him even more shady, was he told me to bring my puppy back to take it to one of the owner's vets (his contact) to deal with the injury; accordingly, I responded saying I wasn't comfortable taking my puppy to another vet and will be taking him to his own vet and Mehran could compensate that visit if this is how he wants to remediate the issue -- of course he didn't accept doing that (so incredibly shady that he has his "own vet on hand").
I've attached photos so everyone can see (I apologize as they're graphic) because clipping nails should be something that groomers (paid professionals) should be well-versed in and careful about.
Quite frankly, I'm disgusted by the owner's interactions around this matter and feel the need to warn everyone that you're exposing your pet to risk should you use their services (I'm pretty sure these reviews that are all sunny and positive are from heavily biased sources). Now I have to work on easing my puppy back into comfort at the groomers. read more
