I wish we could switch, because having someone to guide us into appropriate coverage rather than just selling bulk cookie cutter policies would be amazing. He's a self-described "insurance nerd" who enjoys getting into the nitty gritty for his customers' benefit. And he is quick to reply to emails and he answers the phone himself. I couldn't ask for more. We are trying to switch some of our other policies over to Wayne even if we have to wait on the homeowner's.

We looked at alternate and more responsive brokers that could sell with Traveler's and Nick's reviews caught our attention. After one phone call, I knew this is who I wanted to do business with. He has since helped guide me on some home insurance claim questions that ended up being really good advice. A friend shared a cautionary tale of what happened to her as a result of a similar circumstance and I told her similar happened with us but we didn't have same fallout with our insurance because we took Nick's advice. We successfully renewed our home policy a second year, where if we had stayed with our previous broker we would have been dropped a year prior. We are so thankful we found Nick. He is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. I wholeheartedly recommend!

So before making the call I searched yelp reviews on this company....26 1 star reviews ...and every review was around 4-5 paragraphs long complaining about the horrible customer service and not paying claims.....I will stick with Wawanesa Insurance..now called W Insurance I have been with them for over 20 years with my Home and Auto....They pick up the phone when you call..They are very competent...I had 2 claims on my home and 1 on my auto in those 20 years...they respond very very quick and settle the claim promptly... Sure there are 1 star reviews on this company (can't please everyone) but you can see that they reply to your review. This is a great company they have been in business for 130 years..and sure every year I get a small increase on my policies because the cost to replace my home goes up and so does my car.......have you been to the gas station lately or the super market? But still they are less expensive than most every other insurance company out there.. Btw you may not get auto insurance if you are a crappy driver with accidents and tickets...that's why they can keep their rates fair...I will never switch from Wawanesa..now W insurance. No, it's not--unless the insurance company misrepresents what happened by reporting that my husband simply drove his car into a deep hole. I just discovered that my new vehicle insurance is going up almost $200 because of how this incident was reported. My current insurance company told me that if it had been reported as pothole damage, my rate wouldn't be going up. But because of the way Wawanesa reported it, I'm now paying for this and will stay in my records for years. Stay away from both Wawanesa car and home insurance. I hope whoever made the decision to report it this way realizes one day how much their actions can affect people's lives. I hope she has many sleepless nights over it, because if she can sleep well knowing what she did, it only shows how evil she truly is.
