My favorites were the veggie and the pastor. My son really liked the chicken and I think my husband was the Carnitas and the pastor I had a house margarita with a Taheen rim. It was delicious and strong. They do refills on chips for two dollars and have a nice outdoor seating area. Looking forward to our next taco Tuesday.

We considered ordering drinks at the bar to save both our and our servers time. I know we were not the only ones, as multiple other tables were visibly dissatisfied as well. The restaurant itself was fun to attend and we enjoyed being seated on outdoor patio!

My wife and I each ordered a Chupacabra to go. We drove out to a mountain park to have our burritos, and were disappointed when we bit into them. It definitely wasn't what was described. It was a very soggy consistency, and was filled with some type of red sauce, a bit of rice, a lot of beans, and a couple of chunks of meat. I checked the bag and receipt to verify that we ordered the correct burritos, and it appeared that we had. Getting the wrong order was pretty disappointing, particularly for an expensive carryout burrito ($15/each - okay, stuff is expensive these days, so that wasn't a deal breaker). I also understand that mistakes happen, so I wasn't totally done with Bonfire at this point, because I understand that no system involving people will ever be perfect. My wife called the location to tell them that we received the wrong order. We were about twenty minutes away at this point, but wanted them to know that we didn't get what we paid for. The guy who picked up the phone was really abrupt, and told us that we got the "lunch Chupacabra". Evidently this place uses the same name for two different burritos (there's both a breakfast and lunch Chupacabra). Ignoring the fact that it's strange to have essentially the same name for two different burritos, what we received wasn't the breakfast or lunch Chupacabra burrito, and the guy on the phone couldn't even be bothered to say "sorry for the mistake". After we got home I looked at the menu, and it appears that we were both given something that looked to be the "L-Javelina" burrito (not one I would have ever ordered, honestly). Ultimately this place seemed to have a lot of potential, and I was excited to try the burrito I had actually ordered. But, honestly, I don't see myself going back. Mistakes happen, but receiving rude service in response to politely informing the restaurant that we were given the wrong burritos really turned me off to this spot. It does seem baffling to me that they have two different burritos with the same name, but what we ordered was definitely the breakfast version, as it was the one shown on the screen we read before ordering. Despite what we were told by the rude employee on the phone, what we received was neither the breakfast or lunch version, and the service we received after that error is ultimately what left the worst taste in our mouths.

We recently ate at a Michelin rated taco restaurant and your food truck blew them out of the water. Jeff Fisette and Janelle were fantastic to work with. Jeff is the food and beverage manager and so kind and charismatic and Janelle was our day of coordinator and beyond sweet. Bailey was even accommodating and friendly to work with when she needed to step in. I couldn't do a five-star review because of the event director, Macey. We began working with Savanna, which is a big reason why we booked the venue after meeting with her. I don't know where to begin with Macey. I understand she was newish at the time and maybe even was going through some personal issues. She was not only unresponsive and annoyed that I contacted her more than a couple of times but on top of that very rude to both myself and my family. Countless items that we agreed upon in the beginning of planning did not come through, and we were charged for two items we didn't receive on wedding day. When setting up the room, three hours before the ceremony (we hired a day of coordinator to do this) she told my aunt, "Good luck" and walked away. The cherry on top was when she called me at 0900 the day after our wedding to tell us to come and get the décor items left from the night before. We had previously agreed that we could leave the items there until 1pm. Upon arriving I had asked Macey why this needed to be done right now, her response: "well, I need to use my office don't I". Macey does not care about you or your event, she just wants your payment and quantity trumps quality. I know there are labor shortages but Applewood really does need to hire an event coordinator with at least some experience that kind of likes people or at least pretends to care
