In response to Sabline's Review: 1. No proof of mailing was ever shown nor the company ever mentioned to show me a receipt. Now they claim to have a proof and say that they wanted to show it at the meeting when that was never the case. 2. The coupons on the shelf at your office are no proof for anything. That doesn't mean that you sent them. 3. The company offered to send an additional 10,000 coupons for the month of October, but charging me an extra $150. Never free. *Do not be convinced by what this company tells you or process you. These are all false promises. This company is very shady. read more

I'm always on the hunt for a good coupon, so I really love the locally based ones I find in Golden Mailer. I especially loved the free oil change they advertised a while back! I mean, who doesn't like free?? I can't comment as to their business dealings, as I have never taken an ad out with them, but they service they provide the public is quality and I've never had a problem using their coupons. I only gave it 4-stars because I think they could really work on their website. It's a little confusing. In the meantime, I'll be on the lookout for the Facebook Only offers they put out to quench my thirst for an online-presence. read more

I use Golden Mailer to advertise our Free Wax Service for my European Wax Center in Castro Valley and the results have been fabulous. I only committed to a few months at first to see how it worked and was thrilled with the results. I think the prices are fair and we have had over 100 guests come in as a result so far. Since I have a background in advertising I know that repetion is key. I didn't expect results with the first mailer and was pleasantly surprised. I will NEVER run an ad in the Golden Mailer again. These paperbacks DO NOT work anymore. Everything is digital, no one reads paperbacks anymore. I wasted money running these ads. I ran them for 2 months & got ZERO response.. no sign ups, maybe 1 phone call during the 2 months. Can someone explain to me how you can have an ad sent to thousands of homes & only get 1 phone call in 62 days!!!! It's funny to hear them say you have to keep running the ad to see results... LMAO, basically they are saying keep bending over & grabbing your ankles "GET IT?" take it & ignore the pain.... I wish i could leave NO stars.. Golden Mailer goes straight in the trash. NOTE: The manager replied below and claimed she offered FREE call tracking, however this is a lie and she never offered any free call tracking. I would have jumped at the opportunity to know where my ads were being mailed to and their response, but like I said this was never offered to me and it's disrespectful for her to add these false claims below my review to appear that they acted in a professional manner, when they did not. read more

I've been using direct print advertising through Golden Mailer for some time now. I have a great relationship with them & my point of contact (Tristan Barger) provides creative offers that don't cut into my profits but still attract a steady flow of new customers. I tried to diversify some of my budget this last year and placed ads in magazines, thinking I would reach more of my potential customers. Perhaps for some businesses that avenue brings in customers or saves them money when all is said and done. I spent almost 3 times as much on the other advertisement and almost 90% of the calls I received weren't valuable leads. I like the fact that Golden Mailer allows me to pick exactly what cities in the bay area that I want to send my ads to... and they are ALL homeowners. In my business I need to reach local homeowners. I also don't pay for any areas that will bring in customers that aren't an actual fit for what my business offers. Not only does it save me money, but it saves me so much time. read more
