Where else in Portsmouth can you get cod and chips for £1.90?…read more Not only is this a Chinese takeaway but they also serve a limited fish and chips menu. I believe their prices are the cheapest in Portsmouth, and yet the quality of their food is great (even the chips are always nice and fresh having been cooked in clean oil, and not kept heated for hours on end). It's such a busy place there's no time for chips to go stale anyway! Their Chinese menu is full of all your essential takeaway favourites at a great price and their king prawn dishes are my favourite as they feature a huge portion of proper big king size prawns, not the pale imitation you get in many places. Service is always polite, friendly and as quick as possible, and of course you can phone in your order then collect it to save waiting.

They offer an array of oriental dishes such as Sweet and Sour Pork, Lemon Chicken and Pad Thai. It has become our "go to" when no one wants to move off the couch because Top Gear or Britain's Got Talent is on. Where this place make their mark is their punctuality. Delivery is super quick - as a matter of fact, unbelievaby quick. My favorite dishes are the Fried Chicken Fritters and Lo Mein Combination. The ladies in the house favor the Lemon Chicken which is a nice balance of tangy and savory. This is a great stand by if Pizza Hut, Subway or Chippy have exhausted you.

Pretty sure they put chicken in the pita then realized it was supposed to be veggie and took the chicken out and forgot to put halloumi in. For a vegetarian this is not okay. Also finding a rubber band in food is terrible, someone could have chocked on that. Then a 3 person had a horrible salad. It took 48 minutes for food to come We did get a refund for 2 of the 6 meals but honestly that's not okay. Manager said they are understaffed but unfortunately it's not really an excuse. Would not recommend this place.

There are lots of choices on the menu, but a lot of them taste the same to me and I find most of the dishes rather greasy. To be fair, the food tastes less salty than other takeaways I have used, and it's always served piping hot in generous quantities. The prices are reasonable, and the food's not bad, but I can't help but feel disappointed whenever I get a meal from here. Not as good as it could be.

To start off, i ordered a substantial amount of food and it still arrived hot and fresh before the expected delivery time. Down sides: On the just eat app the tofu came up with two options, chicken or duck (which when delivered, turned up as tofu which was a relief!) this was the only downside I could think of as the food was just too good! - this could have been a 'just eat' issue so, apart from that - 5 stars!
