If you're going to name your establishment "Yummy Yummy", it pretty well better be, or the necessary betrayal felt by customers experiencing an unnecessarily ironic experience will backfire.
I was in town and was looking for a quick bite. I ordered the vegetable tofu satay and garlic fried rice.
The satay, really wasn't. And as for the vegetables, nearly half of the content of this dish was comprised of pineapple. There are those who like a bit of sweet with their savory. Not me, thanks. And for the love of God, a pineapple is not a vegetable! If you're going to put pineapple in a "vegetable" dish the least you could do is warn me so I can opt out.
For the garlic fried rice, clearly the chef had mistakenly thought onions were garlic. There was a hint of garlic, and it smelled wonderful, but this thing was chock-a-bloc full of onions. Clearly their rice supplies were short as they seemed to be using onions as a filler on this dish.
Yummy Yummy, honestly, if you had been called anything but that, I would have given you two stars. So minus one for the unappreciated irony. read more
