A little mint in my spring fresh rolls was what I missed in my Asian tour of top cuisine. I've had some over the top delicious spring rolls and they all came with this most flavorful and aromatic herb that makes or breaks the experience. Unfortunately, the 5th star missing from this review is because so was the mint. Another casual eatery with some beautiful decor that didn't go well with the We are Champions song and pop music radio. Cool market next door for your next adventure.

Food was just okay and tasted a bit too salty. The flavor wasn't memorable, and it wasn't authentic. Service was a bit slower, though there was only one person taking orders. Lastly, the chopsticks were orange, like Thai tea, not really golden.

This is what passed for ground chicken in Laab

I like Thai and Vietnamese food, so although I was in the mood for Italian, I thought I'd give this place a try. There was a mix of standard favorites on the menu as well as a few unfamiliar dishes. I chose to go with my standby favorite, as well as something new. (I was hungry). Of note they have 4 levels of heat : Regular (which is no heat), mild, medium, and hot. Laab (a delicious salad made with seasoned ground chicken, spices, lime juice and touch of fish sauce, usually served over lettuce and other salad veggies). This is one of my all-time favorite Thai dishes. I like spicy food so I ordered mine medium heat. The verdict? This is the WORST LAAB I've ever had. It had no heat and almost no flavor. It was missing that unique spicy tang that gives Laab that wonderful umame satisfaction. The dressing was watered down and tasted more like weak lime juice and fish sauce. And the so called ground chicken looks more like those fake soy crumbles, not like minced up pieces of real chicken. Cholon Beef: this was a new dish for me and it is good... BUT I'm a stickler for truth in advertising. This was supposed to be beef sautéed with bamboo shoots, mushrooms and snow peas. What I got was beef sautéed with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and green beans. (Totally different legume). While the fresh green beans do taste good and fit well into the dish they are not snow peas. Also, I ordered this one as medium heat as well and it has none. The Cholon was good but I'm not sure if I'll be back. I was the only customer in the place I would think they would try to make my order perfect with the level of heat I asked for.

I really really wanted to like this place, but oh my goodness.... worst Asian food I have ever had. I ordered spring rolls and all the vegetables inside were pickled, which made for an acquired taste. Their peanut sauce as well was sour. I had ordered ginger chicken and was extremely disappointed. Pieces of boiled chicken cut up, served with soggy veggies and a once again sour ginger sauce which was just shreds of ginger. I only gave a 2 star because the staff was friendly and their Thai coffee was pretty decent. Food is definitely not worth it.

Looove this restaurant. Must get: Thai tea Spring rolls Vietnamese buns, a noodle and vege dish with choice of meat, chicken beef pork or shrimp. A must must!! Lovely family owned place. We come here often. The coconut chicken is yummy too. Also they have a grocery store next door with all kinds of foods and trinkets.

We have been bringing family and friends here for years! It was as good today as it was the first time we ate here, I say that because it is the same!! Very little has changed which is a good thing as they do the family atmosphere and food exceptionally!! They have always been super friendly and treat you li

One of the local gems. Spring rolls and egg rolls are the bombs. We had Vietnamese Buns Noodle and Pad Woonsen, delicious.

Hubby got the combo bahn mi and he really liked it...unlike other Vietnamese places we've been to (which is a lot btw) this one packs your sandwich full of yummy meat and vegetables. I usually don't care for the combo bahn mi but I was impressed with this one. I got the vermicelli with grilled pork with egg rolls on the side. It was packed beautifully and tasted very fresh when all the ingredients were in together. They said they could use ingredients from the sandwich options as a noodle bowl so I really want to try a korean inspired one next time (Vietnamese-Korean fusion) - eyeing the bugolgi with hints of kimchi. We also tried the fresh spring rolls and they were huge! I really like them with the grilled pork and shrimp - highly recommended! probably my favorite from all the places I have tried. We also ordered pho wings since I was very intrigued by the uniqueness of this but unfortunately we just got regular wings...they probably forgot to do the toppings since I ordered so many items...that's the reason for 4.5 star vs 5 (if we couod have given half stars). Lastly we also ordered the white chocolate almond bread pudding and it was delicious- love the flavor combination! I Also got the strawberry shortcake bread pudding that was a special but I enjoyed the other a little more. The location is a little inconspicuous but very clean and a guide hangout spot. Met the cook who is super nice and the cashier was very helpful with recommendations. Try it!!!

The employees are kind and service is relatively quick. We tried a couple different banh mis, a grilled pork noodle bowl, and fries. The crack Cajun fries have an interesting orange topping that's an acquired taste I have yet to acquire. Overall, the food is good but on the pricier end for what you're getting.

I have ate her twice, and both times I did not enjoy my entree. I ordered the honey chicken with fried rice. To be honest, it lacked flavor, both the rice and the chicken. They have quite a few things on the menu that I can eat, so excited about that. I started off with a Thai Lemongrass margarita. The space was very inviting, there are multiple lucky cats along the wall as you enter, it gives me a hipster vibe. The music is upbeat. It was made just right. We started off with vegetarian spring rolls, which were not fried too hard, they were fried just right and were super light crispy and they came with a sweet, slightly spicy sauce. Something I would say, resembles the feeling of "sweet heat " I ordered the coconut curry. The sauce on it was well seasoned, not too thick . The noodles were undercooked, a little bit before al dente. I had to focus on chewing them. I wanted to try tofu dumplings, but they were unavailable, so I had the miso soup and I was pleasantly surprised. It was so flavorful, I have no complaints. I would come back 1000 times just to have the miso soup. I'm told the Berry domain is very berry and very strong... my sister was happy with her drink and ordered a second.
