Mia loves when tatyana let's her choose which balloon colors she wants before she heads back for her surgery.

Let me start out by saying I Love Gold River Smiles dentistry, they're always so accommodating and take the time to make sure that not only our children are comfortable but that as the parents are also at ease and fully aware of the process they need to go through for the best results. Both of my toddlers come here for their dental work and today my daughter Mia (age 3) is having a dental surgery, needless to say everything went smooth and according to plan as always with this dentistry. I Highly recommend Gold River Smiles to any parents who are looking for a Great pediatric dentistry! I also wanted to specifically acknowledge Tatyana and let everyone know how great she is with the children and keeping their minds worry free (from blowing up balloons to feeding the fish or turtles) She also makes sure to keep us the parents updated on what's happening throughout the surgery. We highly appreciate you're genuinely great customer service and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Lovely coffee mug filled with goodies as a thank you

We got an upgrade on our dental insurance and were able to see a dentist of our choosing after having a very bad experience with another provider. My daughter did all of the searching - I was so beat down by the last experience that I didn't even want to go to the dentist again, and hadn't - in several years. Anyway, daughter found Dr. Nima and had nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Many months later I had a need to see a dentist and finally made an appointment. I had a chipped front tooth that had been filled in and repaired twice over 20 years. It had chipped off again, leaving me with a jagged front tooth. Very unattractive and dangerous to my tongue! I called and spoke to Shannon. She was very helpful. She was very accommodating and was able to get my husband and I both an appointment within a fairly short time. I had also explained my husband's anxiety when it came to dentists and she was completely understanding and assured me that they would handle his appointments accordingly. She emailed me paperwork for us to fill out and we sent it in before our appointments. Very handy! Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked in. In a very short amount of time I was called back by Sydney. She was friendly and took her time going over my medical info with me. She was informative about what we were going to be doing. There were extensive x-rays and also photos taken and Sydney was very good at it. I usually gag with x-rays and didn't have much trouble with her at all. She was thorough in her exam and didn't pinch and poke too bad when measuring my gums. She started to clean my teeth and then Dr. Nima came in and took over for his exam. He went over much of what Sydney had already explained (I had pre-periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning). He was also thorough, friendly, personable and made me feel at ease. He also showed me that I had 4 metal fillings that were cracking my teeth and suggested refilling them with a non-metal substance. We then made a game plan for the deep cleaning, refilling the 4 teeth and also getting my chipped tooth fixed. Sydney finished my cleaning and sent me out to Shannon to make appointments. She was very good at getting me appointments that would work for me, all by the end of the year to take full advantage of my insurance. She is very knowledgeable about insurance, billing, etc. and made it very easy on me. I came back a couple of days later to get the first 2 of my fillings replaced, get the front tooth fixed and also the first half of my deep cleaning done. That appointment was a little more involved and overall, went okay. The only negative thing was that while Dr. Nima was drilling out the old fillings, the Dental Assistant was pressing super hard on my tongue to keep it out of the way. I've had a lot of surgeries and dental work done over the years. I'm not a sissy and I have never stopped a dentist mid-work before but I did then because it really hurt. She made a comment that she didn't want my tongue to get pierced by the drill - and although I can appreciate that reasoning, she was still pressing down too hard on my tongue and her somewhat smart-ass remark rubbed me the wrong way. What she should have said is, "I'm sorry, let me see if I can make an adjustment so that you'll be a bit more comfortable." I will say that she was good with the vacuum. She didn't let water or saliva pool in my mouth. Other than that, I'd prefer a different Assistant protecting my tongue. After the fillings were done and the front tooth fixed, I was sent back to Sydney for the deep cleaning. She was amazing. I actually ENJOYED my cleaning. She was super gentle on the injection and really took her time. That appointment was on a Friday. After I could feel my whole mouth again, I knew that something wasn't right with my front tooth. It was too long and was hitting my lower teeth. Also, there was a line coming down the tooth where it was obvious that it had been filled. Basically the coloring was a bit off. I called Shannon and she was able to get me in Tuesday morning. Dr. Nima refilled the tooth with more of a blend of colors and shaved it down so that it wasn't as long. The tooth looks and feels much better! Although the first try wasn't perfect, the fact that I was seen again so quickly to get it fixed was definitely much appreciated. The very next day I saw Sydney for the second half of my cleaning. It went well again and I'm pleased with how my treatment has gone so far. My husband made it to his appt and had the same process take place but with Jenny as the Hygienist. Considering his anxiety level, he did very well and said that Jenny, Dr. Nima and the entire staff really made it easy for him. He still has a lot more work to get done but his anxiety level isn't off the charts now. We're thrilled that we found Dr. Nima and his staff and look forward to a continued relationship.

It's not the most affordable service, but it is definitely on par with other dental groups in the area. The big bonus is that they have enough staff and resources to book appointments that are within days - not weeks. Things are done correctly the first time, and when they I did have an issue they made time that same afternoon to get me in and taken care of. I really appreciate this. I have now been going there for a year and had a crown and a replacement and both times they have done an excellent job and have delivered on time. The new management team is to be commended. I abandoned this place 6 years ago because it was just hopeless and ended up driving across town just to get decent service that was delivered correctly and I was paying a premium for it. As a 28 year old who has been to the dentist for cleaning every 6 months for over 20 years, I don't know why this started. I have been very open about my dental anxiety with this office and I know it is listed on my patient profile as well. My anxiety is so intense that they usually only do the bare minimum for cleaning, because that's all I can handle. I've never been prescribed anti anxiety medication for these appointments. They are not very compassionate towards my feelings when I come in. This is the only office that has ever pushed me to remove my wisdom teeth. As I finally decided to, I was told I would be put under general anesthesia. When I got there for the procedure, I was told 5 minutes before the procedure, that I would not be completely under or asleep the whole time. As someone who already has serve anxiety, this was super scary and I had no time to prepare. I woke up multiple times throughout the wisdom teeth removal and was in intense panick mode. When I woke up after the procedure was completed the nurse who was in the room with me, excessively repeated "breath through your nose and open your eyes" in frustrated/rude tone. I was trying to breath through my nose but was struggling to stop hyperventilating at the same time. And my eyes were already open. I tried to clam down so I could leave as soon as possible. I felt that while this office may be good for the general patient, if you have any sort of elevated dental anxiety, I would NOT recommend coming here. They just don't seem to be as compassionate as I wish they would be and they almost seem annoyed that I experience this uncontrolable anxiety. I cannot speak on their services because I feel mine are done a bit differently than the average persons (due to the anxiety that I experience)

The front desk staff does change from visit to visit, so you may not always see the same person who helped you previously, but everyone I've encountered has been amazing. If you value transparency, just ask. I started with a consultation, we discussed a treatment plan, and I received a detailed quote. Perfect. As I followed the plan through my fourth appointment, I asked for an updated printout outlining my remaining treatment and the expected costs for each visit. The dental assistant reviewed a change in my estimate and explained that the additional treatment may or may not be necessary, but it was better to have it included than be caught off guard later. I appreciated the honesty. She also offered to submit everything to my insurance for processing. Do you, boo! From my experience, this office is exceptional. I've arrived on time for every appointment, checked in, paid my portion upfront, and typically waited only 5-10 minutes before being called back. The X-ray technician is incredibly sweet. The hygienist is wonderful, she takes her time and thoroughly examines your teeth. Dr. Gaddis and her dental assistant were extremely careful during my tooth extraction. The moment I felt uncomfortable, they paused to check on me and make sure I was okay. What really prompted me to leave this review happened today. I stopped by because I had been losing sleep, worried that one of my stitches had come loose after my extraction. There were three staff members at the front desk, and the dental assistant who helped with my procedure came out as well. Every single one of them reassured me that it was completely normal after a couple of days. I felt a little silly asking, but they listened without judgment and even asked whether the area was still hurting. When I told them it was still tender, they reassured me that was normal too. This dental office healed a part of the 16-year-old version of me that had a traumatic experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. Their patience, compassion, transparency, and genuine care have completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. Thank you for making what used to be a stressful experience feel safe again.

My tooth chipped last year and I had a crown put on at this dentist office. The initial appointment went well. The crown installation went smoothly and the staff was nice. But then my crown came off a few months later and I had to get it replaced. Firstly, they made me feel like I had done something wrong for the crown to come off, telling me that I shouldn't floss the way I normally do and that I shouldn't eat certain things. That didn't sit right with me because I have a different crown I've had for over a decade and have absolutely zero issues with it in all that time. No floss issues, not food or chewing issues. But this dentist says I can't eat foods with my teeth? I have to avoid crunchy and/or sticky things for the rest of my life? That's absurd! What is even the point of the crown then? Its supposed to be my new tooth for biting and chewing related things. Its not cosmetic. Its supposed to be functional. So anyway, I leave that day and less than 3 weeks later it comes off again! Bruh. Its cemented on there. With cement! A chewie gummy candy is stronger than CEMENT!? Why not just use chewie gummy candy to mount crowns then? Its clearly a superior sticking agent. So I called on a Saturday at around 2PM (during their Saturday business hours) to set up another appointment. No one answers. I want to leave a message, but I get greeted by an AI. I tell the robot I want to talk to a human, so it transfers me. No one answers. I leave a message. No one calls me back. I call again on Monday, get an appointment, and go in the next day. This is where it gets worse. As they're putting the crown back on, the dentist is again reprimanding me for flossing wrong and eating certain foods with my teeth like its my fault her shoddy work didn't hold. I tell her its absurd that I can't use my teeth to eat food. She puts the crown on again and it immediately doesn't feel right. The dentist shaves it down again and again and I keep telling her its not fitting right. She says to me over and over, "That's just not possible" like I can't feel that my own teeth and bite are feeling weird. She shaved the crown a half dozen times and it STILL didn't feel right. But that's my perception she tells me. My brain is confused. What? She did one final adjustment and it felt sort of OK so I just left it at that and said its fine, but its not. Its still sitting too low and I can feel it preventing my bite from being how it was. Then, they had the audacity to ask if I wanted to come back for more cleanings after all that bullshit. No thanks. I would not even recommend this dentist to someone I hate. Can I give them zero stars? Negative stars?

When I insisted on a cold test, the sensation went away immediately -- it did not linger. According to the American Association of Endodontists, a diagnosis of irreversible pulpitis (the clinical justification for a root canal) requires lingering pain of 30 seconds or longer after the cold stimulus is removed. A sensation that disappears instantly is actually consistent with a healthy or reversible response. Despite this, Dr. Kim told me the result proved I needed a root canal -- which directly contradicts standard endodontic diagnostic criteria. Additionally, no written cost estimate was provided before the procedure. Under the federal No Surprises Act, healthcare providers -- including dental offices -- are legally required to provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before any non-emergency service. I was only told the cost after the root canal was completed, which is a violation of this patient protection law. A second opinion from another dentist confirmed my concerns about the cold test interpretation. This experience felt rushed, financially motivated, and lacking in the diagnostic thoroughness that patients deserve. I would strongly encourage anyone here to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any invasive procedure, and to specifically request a written cost estimate upfront -- it is your legal right.
