A couple things that stood out to me: first, their response time was super quick and the emails and calls we had were thorough and not rushed. Second, the credit check was done through an actual portal, which felt way more secure. Overall, a super positive experience.

Alex is kind, understanding, and consistently communicative. He often replies to emails within minutes! Sokol, the super, has also been wonderful to work with. It's rare to find a team so reliable and easy to work with in property management, and it's made my experience living here seamless and stress-free. Fortunately, we had dated photos of the apartment showing it was in the same shape as when we moved in a few years prior, and we were able to get most of our deposit back after a lot of back and forth. If you're a tenant in one of their buildings, I highly recommend documenting the condition of the apartment when you move in (missing screens in windows, small chips or scrapes, etc.). Otherwise, they will make every effort to keep your security deposit.

Any maintenance issues were addressed within 24hrs of request. -Building was old and sturdy meaning noise travel from other residents was minimal. -Paid our rent on time and never bothered by management. CONS: -Apartment was not ready for move-in. It was a quick turnover for them but we entered the space two days after our lease started and the fridge, tub, stove were all still dirty. They quickly sent a cleaning crew after I called the original Super and expressed my frustration. The crew did their job but we never received a true deep clean before moving in. -Scaffolding. Nearly two years of scaffolding. WTF. Get on the phone to the construction crew and have them finish. I work in construction and can understand delays but there are 3-4 month spans with not a single person working. No urgency from Stellar, clearly -Be prepared to go to the office if you have any issues. Terrible at answering emails and/or phone calls. Usually resolved if you go to the office but definitely a holier-than-thou attitude when you are there. Would live at a Stellar Management property again if i had to.
