I cannot recommend Craig Paulson highly enough!…read more I was going through a very challenging personal situation when I started my apartment search, and Craig treated me with immense kindness, empathy, and respect from day one. He went above and beyond to show me a lovely apartment in Brooklyn--complete with a private backyard--owned by a wonderful mother-and-son landlord team. But what truly set Craig apart was his dedication: he was quick in responding to communications and stuck with me through the entire application process, guiding me through every detail until the keys were in my hand. His professionalism, patience, and genuine care turned a stressful time into a successful move. I am incredibly grateful for everything he did for me. If you need a real estate broker who is not only dedicated and sharp but truly cares about his clients as human beings, look no further than Craig Paulson!

I highly recommend working with her!

If you're moving in NYC, do it with Jordyn! I had been searching on my own for about a month with…read moreno luck, and after a week of working together, I signed a lease. She is incredibly professional, moves fast, and knows the NYC market well. Jordyn took time to listen to my very particular needs and was clear with her explanation of how qualifying and applying works since I am a first-time renter new to NYC. She was also more than willing to make accommodations for any tours or open houses I couldn't attend in-person. Work with Jordyn!!

She was super responsive, always organized, and genuinely friendly to work with. Every time I had a question, I got a clear answer fast. She also made finding a place that worked for me and my dog feel doable, which in Manhattan is not a small thing. She understood what I was looking for right away and didn't waste my time with places that didn't fit. What really stood out was that she kept helping after the lease was signed and she'd been paid. When I needed help with building management, she stepped in and followed through like it was still part of the job. That says a lot about who she is. Reliable, helpful, and just a great person to have in your corner. If you're looking for a place in the city, call her.

Finding an apartment in Manhattan is an exhausting, stressful disaster in itself. Do yourself a…read morefavor and do not even bother speaking to an agent from Bond. I had terrible experiences with a handful of different Bond agents until I was completely finished with them. I know, it's tempting to keep going back because their listings are extremely attractive. It's just too bad... none of them are real. If you message them regarding a listing you've seen online, chances are it has "an application pending on it." Why? So that the agent can go "searching" for another apartment for you. They will then tell you to meet them at their office before viewing apartments, to put together a list of non-existent apartments to view. I never met with an agent in person. Why? Because every question I asked the agent, they'd dodge. They'd refuse to give out exact addresses of their apartments, would not tell you what floor the apartment is on, and why? Because they aren't real! I had an agent dodge all of my questions and then text me in a group chat with a colleague of his telling me that he'll meet me on "92nd and 2nd." Great, thanks, extremely specific, please give my number to anyone you'd like. Then, when I told them I didn't make actual arrangements with them because they hadn't answered any of my questions they'd said, "So you're canceling? We don't appreciate being monkey wrenched around. We worked hard today for you. Good luck." So, rude, douchey agents, who don't even have real listings! Save your time and energy. Agents I spoke with: Kevin Damman, Aubree Brown, Tyler Jones, Shawn Sellick, Bryan Leon

I made an appointment with a Broker at Bond Real Estate to view a unit for $1250 on their website…read more The agent, Brent Fleming seemed like a kind individual, I spoke to him briefly on the phone concerning the unit. He answered my questions and alleviated my concerns and was willing to schedule a viewing for the unit. Once we had settled on a time and date, he told me he would provide the address the day of, which should have been a red flag, but I told him that was fine. The day before we were to meet up, Brent sent me a flurry of emails. They were short, saying how the unit i wanted currently had an application on it. But! I could view another unit worth $1275, this one also had an application on it, however it was a weak application! And that I had to act immediately if I wanted to see it. He then proceeded to send a list of application materials needed. I was hesitant, and asked to be updated about other units similar to the $1250 unit, since it seemed to be no longer available. Brent told me that I could still view both the $1250 and $1275 units the next day. So I told him I am not interested in the $1275 that I would like to view the $1250. but Brent did not take too kindly to that and thus his true character began to show. He then began to send emails within a minute of my responses. Brent began to talk down to me and state the obvious price difference of $25 between the two units and oddly enough, how they are owned by the same landlord/super. But I explained to him how the price difference after a year is $300 and since neither of the units were rent-stabilized the price difference would increase later on. Still on his diatribe of rapid fire emails, Brent proceeded to state that I could not afford a broker, since in his mind, me not mindlessly spending money on a random apartment means I do not have any money. He proceeded to lecture me and said that if I was not willing to spend the extra $25, I clearly would not pay a broker's fee of 15% of 12 months rent. I could not understand how he would make that assumption based on me wanting to save money, so I told him to consider the needs of his clients before trying to push an apartment on them. As a response, he decided it was best to calculate the broker's fee and post it on the email since in his mind, I could not do it myself. I admit I let my anger get the better of me and decided to give him a math lesson and proved how he was wrong or misleading me with his calculations. Brent then said the math didn't matter, and reiterated how I cannot afford a broker. I wished him a good day and we parted ways (via email) Bond real estate, Brent Fleming is a jerk. Please educate him on how to handle clients. Or is this how you treat potential clients? By acting like pompous jerks that assume how much a client is willing to pay? To people looking for apartments, do not work with Brent Fleming. He will treat you like you are beneath him if you let him and attempt to trick you into a more costly unit on an unfounded ground.
