I came here for my first Asian hot pot experience and I loved it. Each of us had our own Individual hot pots and we shared a sizzle plate as well. Our meal came with 1 abalone and 2 oysters for each guest and the rest of the food was unlimited. Surprisingly, the oysters were probably the best I've had. Large and fresh, they just glided down. The food just kept coming: there was a large variety of seafood, vegetables and meat for the hot pot. Not to mention plenty of sauces. Just ask and they bring your order to your table for you to cook in your pot at your own pace. The slices of meat cooked quickly and the whole experience was different and interesting. It was telling that my table was the only one full of westerners, the rest were taken by what looked like Chinese, obviously appreciating the value and authenticity. The staff were polite and caring. The decor very traditional Chinese with a slight nod to modernity. It can be hard to find. It's on the corner facing the docklands waterfront, near the Kylie Minogue statue. The other amazing thing is the price. All of this for around $40 odd per head. It's not hipster, but it sure is authentic, and great value. read more
