Not only did she find a diamond that would fit in the setting, she found the most fabulous diamond. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I got a chance to meet Karin when we went back to Kloiber to look at wedding bands. I saw why he chose to purchase the ring there. She was so friendly, genuinely loves what she does, and likes making people happy (you can tell). I found my band right away - it was her first recommendation as to what would go with my engagement ring. My husband, on the other hand, had a few rings ordered to be sent to the store to try before he bought. He didn't love either, so Karin recommended a ring that was almost a combination of the 2. He had to buy it before seeing it though as it was custom made. Needless to say, he made the right decision. His ring is great too. He also purchased a fab necklace for me for the actual wedding day from Kloiber which I love! Over the last few months, I have been into Kloiber (the new location is in the US Bank building - go up the main escalator to the Galleria level and you will practically run into it) several times - ring sizing, ring cleaning, ring pick up, necklace shortening, etc. I'm sure it would be fine if you just stopped in (ring the bell), but I would suggest making an appointment - they are very good by email as well. Everyone I encountered has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service. I honestly couldn't recommend a place more than Kloiber. They are fantastic.

Grandma Carol (now happily retired) walked me through a variety of styles taking note each time of what I liked and didn't until she presented me with a set that combined all the elements that had made my face light up. With my part done my fiance went back and looked through the loose diamonds until he found the perfect center stone. They serviced my ring repeatedly over the years. Sizing it up while I was pregnant and back down after my babies were born. They repaired a shank that cracked because I wore my ring to the gym while lifting weights and repaired a prong that I snagged and bent. For our 20th anniversary we had a custom enhancement made that made me fall in love with my ring all over again. I have other pieces from Kessler's as well: earrings, several chains and my favorite cross necklace. I hadn't needed anything in several years, but am now looking for another piece of bling. I showed up at the Brookfield store and was greeted by Ari who was able to read my mind and guide me to the perfect ring for me. She ordered one brought over from another store and has done some incredible logistical coordination setting a loose diamond into a Kessler's setting. There are a few extra costs when the center stone isn't purchased from them (cost to set the stone and an appraisal fee), but that seems logical to me. They are and will continue to be my jeweler!! I always kept up with the cleanings for the warranty. Within the last 3 years I have had it repaired 4 times by Kay's and every time I got it back I would either lose the same stone or another one would come out, to the point where they said my warranty was voided and I was paying out of pocket for the repairs. The last time I had worn it one day after they had fixed it at Kays and another stone fell out....so frustrated. My husband after that refused to get it fixed anymore and I thought this might be hopeless. I really love this ring so I decided maybe it's not me maybe it's just not getting fixed right. And what do you know I was right! The gentleman at Mid Continental Gems said that whoever I had taken it to before did not fix the post right for the diamond to stay in place. I did not tell him where I had gotten it fixed at but he will know now because of this review. The amazing thing is I paid over $125 dollars each time at Kays to have it repaired and he only charged me $31.00 Wow!!!
