Run from these scammers, they take your money and have noone to match you with. They prey on lonely people and have lawyers on payroll to protect them. Firstly, you sign a contract that gives you 5 days to cancel and your background check takes over 7 days, hence, there is no way to cancel. Contact your credit card and you have signed a contract to cancel within 5 days so you can't get your money back. They feed you will all BS and is nice on the telephone bit don't deliver. I joined in 12/22 for a 3 year contract with 6 matches. At the initial interview I asked about the number of men in my age group. I was told in Florida it's not a problem. That was NOT accurate information.They have provided 2 matches. The second was a very nice man, but a smoker. He told me he didn't have to pay. He was given a free trial and I was his second match. We dated for a few months, but it didn't work out. I should not have accepted a smoker, but I was trying to keep an open mind as they recommended. I have not received another match because there are NO men in my age group. They cannot fulfill their obligations. I would like to cancel this contract. I would accept a 50 percent refund. read more

I made an appointment with these people after a lot of questions over the telephone. They called me Sunday afternoon to remind me. They sent me a detailed text Monday morning to remind me, and when I arrived at their offices five minutes prior to my appointment at 4, no one was there. I waited until the appointment time, knocked on the door again and left. I received a call on the way to my car, a so called "courtesy call" informing me my interviewer would be late. ORIGIONAL POST: ON GOOGLE 1 MONTH AGO As a widower with 2 boys, I signed up and was sold by a salesperson! 1 year later, I think it was a waste of emotions, energy, money, and way too much time! I am very disappointed with the matches, They convince you to take the matches you do not want so they can fill the matches! Then they are done with you. A total waste of thousands of dollars! The matcher feels more like a sales person convincing you to date a 35 yr old when it says in your profile 39 and older. I have my reasons! I ask for someone who loves god, I go on the date to find out she's in control not god, barely goes to church at all! How is that a match. Wrong age, No pictures so they say she is really pretty, and you get there the person is the opposite of how she was explained. in every way! I'm so upset for allowing them to close me on this. As a salesperson and business owner, I should have recognized the tactics.. I work to hard for my money for it to be wasted. I'm ready to pay the $500 fee and gift the aggravation to someone else. The worst service I ever encounter in my life, for me waste my time and money and then write a poor review it is very bad service. This company to not meet members expectations, or they must have a very low level and unprofessional staff for do this job, they do not know how to match, they no answer phone in your first call, you have to leave several messages, they said after every introduction will receive an email so you can follow up, never happens, I signed up in July/2023, the matches it was awful, the first email I received from Melyna it was last week 11/10/23. This company is a total fraud, rip off! I don't know how they do the match, maybe by flipping a coin! but the matches I got, zero connection. I bought a membership early this year (March) and I am stilling paying for this. The day of the introduction the lady was nice, the person who called me for the first date was cheerful and polite. After that, they don't answer the phone calls, they don't return the messages, they don't respond to the text. They just had ghost it me! The only difference between this site and others is that they do "background check", nothing else. I was told that the membership includes one match a month. I got my first date like 2 weeks later. It wasn't a match, then i got the second date - that was a match from hell - we both agreed we weren't a match, and the agency didn't share any information about this person with me, just the name. When I asked for more information, I was told if I want more information, I have to pay an extra $1000 and If I want more dates a month, I have to pay extra $1500. what a joke! The 3rd and last date - almost at the end of June- wasn't a good match either. Since then, the agency just disappears and never returned my phone calls, messages, texts (that I saved on my phone). I didn't have any dates on June, at all or so far this month, July 2023. But I still have to keep paying for a service I am not receiving. For other people out there looking for somebody special, stick with the best dating sites and stay away from Gold Coast Matchmakers - paying thousands of dollars just for a background check, is not worth it.! read more

I called Gold Coast to let them know that a good friend of mine, who is a teacher signed up for their service within a month ago. She had one date and gave them her feedback. It's been over two weeks and she hasn't heard back from them. I called today to tell them that I wouldn't be signing up because of my friends experience and I have three other friends that were willing to sign up as well. The person that I spoke with kept saying have your friend that signed up call us. I told her she already contacted you a couple of times but has not had a response. She said there's a process. After reading all the complaints I am feeling the same!!!! Did anyone try to take them to small claims court or hire a lawyer?

I joined this company back in March of this year. They were immediately responsive, and I was asked to come in for an extensive interview subsequently, I was set up with a few introductions, all of which failed miserably because they weren't even close to being a match for me, or following the parameters that I have indicated. My matchmakers name is Tian. The last time I heard from her was about 2 to 3 weeks ago subsequently I have tried to reach the office at all times of the day and also my matchmaker at all times of the day by text by email and by voicemail, I have heard from no one. I paid thousands of dollars for the service and have been at nothing but disappointment, I left an earlier review which was favorable after I had had a long conversation with the matchmaking company. Unfortunately they did not follow through on their promises and things have just gotten worse. This feels like a scam because they match you with people that do not meet your parameters like they are doing something very randomly. There's no methodology to this. By the way, I have never actually met my matchmaker and she does not think she has time to meet with me so she doesn't even know me. Also, you don't get to even see a photograph of the party that they're matching you with so something is very wrong here and I hope others will not waste their time using the service. of note, every single one of my introductions has expressed the same feelings about the service so I don't think it's just me... read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. This company and the company they took over for are deceitful and unethical. They claim to be matchmakers but they are just an expensive form of match.com. They use algorithms not real human contact. They took my money sent me incompatible "dates" and then do not send another "match" for 4 months. Then the man they match me with is distracted by a family issue, was late for our meeting and was not present in our hour long conversation. 10 matches, 8 one time meetings and the other two 1 could barely speak english and the other was had no integrity and broke the rules by looking me up on Facebook first. read more

My initial experience on the intake and sales was great! I felt this would be a great way to date and leave internet dating in the dust! Boy was I bamboozled! Once you pay$$$ and do an extensive interview, you are farmed out to a matchmaker. This is where the ball dropped! First of all, my matchmaking hasn't met me and had a single conversation! She's using portfolio and paper to identify a match! Well I've already got that going on with internet! Next first match was way older than I requested! Nothing about this match was remotely what I was attracted to! And to make it worse, it took weeks to get that first match. Then once I submitted feedback---crickets!!! I began calling, emailing and texting. When the matchmaker finally responded, her attitude was atrocious and was disinterested in hearing what I was feeling. I was told to "trust the process!" Now mind you--I have 6 matches in total with my membership and based on first match and her response---I have no trust! Next, she sends me another match who doesn't reach out for a week. I call her and let her know this! He then proceeds to hyper call 10 times while I'm at work and doesn't leave a message. When I reach back to him, he sounded DAZED and CONFUSED about who I even was. I gave him my few minutes and considered a date, then realized that he was WAY OUT THERE! He called the next day thinking I was a client and hadn't even remembered my name and that we spoke. Now it's been a week of me once again trying to reach the matchmaker to let her know this is unacceptable!!! They lie to you that they have top notch clients when in fact they do not have clients to match you with, that's a fact. They reply to reviews with more lies and what's really disturbing is that I could have donated the 1500.00 to a charity. Shame on you. There is no need for a reply!! read more

There is no question about the integrity of this company - it would rate ZERO, without any doubt! Not only do they not deliver what they advertise, do not follow preferences in age, religion or any other area, they also charge females as much as SIX TIMES the fee that they charge men (despite the fact that they claim this is not the truth, but 2 friends of mine joined and had this experience!), obviously because fewer men are falling for their deception! Despite the fact that they did not fulfill any of their contractual obligations, they refuse to return any part of my initial fee. I have spoken to some of their representatives live, each of whom claimed they would try to help, but after waiting 8 months for that "help" to materialize, it is apparent that it will not be forthcoming! Sadly, nothing concrete can be done to stop these practices other than informing any unsuspecting friends to beware of Goldcoast Matchmakers, which is a very well-designed scam to lure honest women to their service. read more

Fraud, con artists and scammers!!! I signed up because I was told I would be very easy to match even though I had very secific references. Heard nothing for months. When I complaines they came u with a "match" that turned out to be about 8" shorter than my minimum height requirement. The second spent the entire time getting free coffee refills and talking about hw much he missed his ex-wife. The next one turned out to be a porn producer. Them I heard nothing for almost a year and asked for a refund and filed a BBB complaint. They do a really good fast talking routine when the word refund is used. I decided to give them one more try with a match who talked about all the women in his life, asked some very inappropriate questions, and made some very suggestice remarks. Later I got 6 very suggestive texts in 3 days. I again complained and asked for a refund. They tried to talk me into another match who did not meet my preferences. I was told I needed to be flexable and open minded for the process to work. They do not know what they are doing and do not know any of the clients. They need to lose their business license, be closed down and refund the money of everyone they have scammed! read more
